Everything was very nice and comfortable and quiet.
Centrally located in Anchorage. They have a shuttle that can drop you off at nearby restaurants within a 1 mile radius. Rooms are clean and modernly furnished. Huge hot tub in the room. The king size bed was soft and comfortable. Breakfast leaves a-lot to be desired. Its the standard mass produced beef patty, and runny gravy you get from most hotels that offer "breakfast." We did really enjoy the Frappuccino machine; every hotel should have this. That was the highlight of the breakfast and a definite sustain. The front desk worker, Rayne, was a delight to talk to and was very helpful during our stay. Jenny was really helpful too and took the time to explain how to get to our destination and what was the best route. Overall, a great but somewhat overpriced experience (As all hotels in the summer in Anchorage raise their prices during the summer to profiteer from us travelers.) I would stay here again. Keep the frappuccino machine but please get rid of the horrible SYSCO style breakfast. I'm old enough to remember when hotel complimentary breakfasts were filled with delicious omelets, scrambled eggs, and home made sausages. All this mass produced breakfast slop that is rolled out at most every hotel now is a poor, cheap imitation for the real thing. The breakfast is what lowered my review from 5 to 4 stars.
I really enjoyed my stay. The staff at this hotel is so friendly. They really make you feel welcome. Always smiling and happy.
Excellent hospitality, comfortable rooms, at a very reasonable price. Great location too.
Location, friendly staff.. Breakfast at a reasonable time. Very nice.
The remote for the TV didn't work. The staff had it fixed in under 10 minutes.
Cordero ado jr and John were fantastic. Nicest hotel stay I’ve ever had. Great experience super clean. Everyone here deserves a raise
The staff at this hotel are amazing! I am so impressed by the pride they take in their work and how welcoming and warm they are. Everyone I had contact with, from group reservations, front desk staff, housekeeping, kitchen staff to shuttle driver, was friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Olesea, Randy, Monika and Rayne.
I am usually here with student groups; I appreciate the guidelines the hotel has for students and the way the staff are able to enforce those guidelines without being too harsh.
Bring you favorite bath product - the tubs are something special!
everything about my stay was okay except for an employee by the name of cordero. he stopped me and my sister in law and asked us to leave a review so he could get a bonus. and we agreed. get his card. and everything seems good. then we’re out and she gets a friend request on facebook from cordero. when she never gave her name to him just what room we was in. so we’re assuming he checked the records or asked front desk for her name just to add her on facebook which is just overall creepy behavior.
Staff was kind, room was comfortable, everything was great!
Everything
Nothing
We were here for my husband's knee surgery. Nice large room, very clean and comfy. Really enjoyed the huge tub. Breakfast was great and then staff was so helpful and courteous. Especially Cordero, Jr. (helped me make waffles), Afi (so kind), Susana and Rosie! What a great crew. Always working and made a minute to be helpful. Definitely staying here when I come back for knee replacement for myself. Thanks for having our back. Barbe and Vicente
The oversize tub with jets is a dream. Very good location. Quick Shuttle service to airport. Great blinds on the windows for sleeping in.
Sound deadening to neighbor on the same floor, okay. But sound deadening from upstairs neighbors not so great. Loud plumbing.
Our trip was unexpected and we had to spend a night in Anchorage due to an unexpected change in our flight plan. We had such a positive experience at the Dimond Center Hotel. We were waiting for our shuttle to the airport but were turned away due to limited space, however the receptionist took the initiative to call and pay for a cab for us. We were so touched by their service and hospitality. Also.. rooms were very clean, complimentary breakfast as well, great place to stay especially if traveling with a child.
I had a nice time with my family and it was easy to get everything we needed for our room as well as getting stuff to eat
Best place to stay in Anchorage. Everytime we come to the big city we stay at the Dimond Hotel. I want to give big shout to Susan that was doing the breakfast. Top notch she was very kind and polite. 5 stars to Susan.
