Dimond Center Hotel

Stayed for one night precruise. Courteous staff, location close to airport with a very convenient free shuttle. Excellent laundry facility on-site. Next door to a mall with shopping and eating options. Room was clean and spacious and nice complimentary breakfast buffet. Also complimentary tea and coffee 24/7. Norwegian cruise transfer bus picked us from hotel itself. Would highly recommend

There were pros and cons to this hotel.
The pros:
- the woman who was at the desk the mornings of July 7 and 8. She was smiling and helpful. (I apologize I didn't get names)
- the beds were super comfortable.
- walking distance to the Dimond Mall and Walmart where we were able to get some last minute items.
- the shuttle bus driver who got us from the airport to the hotel on July 7.
- the breakfast ladies. They were very nice and kept the area neat and tidy.

The cons:
- the men who were at the desk the afternoon/evening of July 7. When I called for a shuttle I was told it had just left and would be 30 minutes. After 45 minutes I called again and was told we must have missed it and it would be another 15 minutes. So after waiting at the airport for over 1 hour we were picked up by the shuttle driver who explained it's been very slow and no, he hadn't been to the airport in the last hour. We didn't appreciate being misled by the man who answered the phone. The shuttle driver then offered to drive us into town to make it up to us. Once we got our stuff in the rooms, we went down to the front desk to alert the shuttle driver we were ready. He told us the shuttle only goes to/from the airport and the driver shouldn't have offered that to us. Then he said he was going to have to tell the manager that the shuttle driver had offered that. I explained I didn't want to get him into trouble as he was just being nice, and we would get an uber. After 10 minutes, the man at reception said we could use the shuttle service to go into town. I said we had already ordered the uber who was only 2 minutes away and I wouldn't be rude to the driver by canceling last minute.
- the breakfast offerings are a bit lacking.

Enjoyed stay, convenience all around.

Convenient and location

Romano has shuttled me to the airport a couple times from the dimond center and he slways has a smile even if I don't. He does a great job. Enjoyed having him as my driver!

Clean, large room with great amenities and a very helpful, friendly staff, especially Afi at the front desk and the airport shuttle driver.

Quick stay for resupply

A heartfelt thank you to Afi and Manika at the front desk for their exceptional service and assistance in getting us into our room early after a long journey. Their warm smile, greetings and eager to assist set the tone for the amazing employees they are. The breakfast was outstanding, with a diverse selection of options. The two ladies in the breakfast area, went above and beyond to create a truly exceptional dining experience. The rooms were remarkably spacious and immaculate, and the soaking tub was the perfect touch - every aspect of the hotel exceeded expectations. The hotel's central location was a major plus, making it easy to access all the places we needed to visit. Great thanks to the Dimond Center Hotel for providing a fantastic experience that exceeded our expectations. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

Rayne and the guy working the shuttle whose name I can’t quite recall (night of June 25th) were both incredibly helpful and friendly. Rayne was sweet and personable, and offered me spa water after my long trip and made sure I knew where all of the amenities were :)

The man working shuttle was really nice and introduced me to my surroundings in a way that helped me feel like I could settle in.

All around they were both fantastic!!

Manila, Rayne, and Randy that work the front desk made every bit of my trip enjoyable. I literally left the airport with nowhere to stay, that's a story for another post and googled places to stay. I walked into the hotel and Rayne and Randy were working the counter that day. They provided me with several options and booked me for one night until I could decide if I would make this my stay for the remainder of the week.

I enjoyed my stay and went downstairs for breakfast the next morning where I was greeted by Manika pleasant smile and helpful spirit. She booked me for 5 nights per my request.

I did not realize the hotel did NOT have central air. On the third night it became increasingly warm in my room. I called down to the front desk and that is when I was informed the hotel did not have central air which was not unexpected for Alaska I just didn't recall reading it online.

No worries, even though my call was late at night, Rayne from the front desk personally brought me another fan to keep cool.

The hospitality was great. My room was nice and peaceful. I would definitely stay here again.

spacious rooms, great breakfast

We found ourselves needing a stay in Anchorage when our camper van needed some unexpected repairs. Spent 3 nights at Dimond Center where the staff were always smiling, pleasant and so helpful. Special thank you to Manika and Afi Rayne who made us feel welcome and ensured all needs were met each and every time we came and went from the front lobby.

Beautiful hotel and room Rayne was fantastic getting us the room we needed after a last minute flight delay

We stayed at the Diamond Center Hotel the night before we embarked on a Norwegian cruise. It was a very nice facility. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. The highlight was the breakfast - the food was hot and fresh and there were lots of options. The coffee was delicious. It was an excellent start for our Alaska adventure!

Fantastic location easy to airport. Clean and comfortable. Bedding nice and room has high ceilings making it feel better
Great place to stay in anchorage area

Rayne was very helpful and the room I stayed in was nice and fairly large.
