Staff do friendly and welcoming . Large room - especially for London and an excellent breakfast!
We had problems with the air con but it may have been user error. Maybe instructions would have helped. But overall great stay.

Our room was ground floor with two large partial opening windows and beautiful window flower boxes. Room was spacious, great amenities, serviced daily and very comfy beds. Large TV and filtered water. The breakfast was wonderful, served piping hot and plenty of choice. We had an early departure and a continental breakfast was accommodated which we really appreciated. About a 15 minute walk to Victoria Station and bus around the corner. Easy flat walk to attractions within 30 minutes otherwise, bus or train. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend The Windermere Hotel.
Our shower was over the bath and deep to step into. Be mindful if you have mobility issues to check for walk-in shower.
