The breakfast was excellent and the staff serving it were very friendly and attentive. For the area of London it is in it seemed like good value for money and was very close to the train station which was handy.

We stayed at the Windermere for four nights in mid-July, 2026. We stayed in room 34, which was on the top floor, in the back, and which was very quiet.

The hotel is about 3 blocks from Victoria Station, so it was a very easy walk. The neighborhood is very quiet, and it is situated just a few blocks from lots of restaurants and stores. In fact, about a block away was a nice pub that we went to several times.

The AC in our room worked great, the beds were good, and the bathroom was a comfortable size. The room is small, but there was plenty of room for my wife and me. We chose a room with two twin beds.

The breakfast that was included was filling, and the staff made sure we had what we needed. There was one day when we needed to go out before breakfast was served, but the staff offered to get us something to take with us if we wanted it.

I loved the location - We could walk easily to things like Buckingham Palace, and the tube was right at Victoria Station. We were in London before going on a Princess Cruise, so the day we left, we could easily walk with our luggage to Victoria Coach Station for our Princess bus to the ship.

Tolle Lage, sehr nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal. Frisches erstklassiges a la carte Frühstück. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

I would love to have had the room in the picture however I had a single very adequate room. I wish the shower was a bit larger, but I understand why it is the size it is.

The location is walking distance to Buckingham palace , Victoria coach Station and Victoria Station. You can get anywhere in the city from there. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Excellent hotel in a quiet area of London but close to Victoria. Decor very nice, modern, smart & comfortable. Cornicing, sash windows retaining character but modern amenities and furnishing. Comfy beds, good but small shower. Nice corner room with double aspect. Nice shutters that can be used instead of curtains but curtains are available. Air conditioning was good. Staff were very helpful & friendly. Breakfast was excellent quality & value and we even got a lovely surprise for a birthday celebration. Would recommend and go back again.

Good location in quiet area. Well run hotel very helpful staff. Cozy room good standard. Did not eat or use the bar service. Close to Victoria station.

Wir fanden die fußläufige Lage zur Victoria Station und die Pubs die nicht weit weg waren super. Gute Lage wenn Tagesausflüge mit Golden Tours oder EvansEvans gebucht wurden.

Our room had a "heat Pump". It was air conditioning!!! YEAH. No other place in England where we stayed had air. It made a world of difference, because it was very HOT outside. The breakfasts were very nice. Good coffee, which was important to my husband. People were nice and very accommodating. Would highly recommend The Windemere Hotel
