Room was very nic
$15 parking was not told at booking, ridiculous charge.
Food for breakfast was terrible
I liked what they were trying to do with the place.
It’s a handyman’s dream

Convenient. Comfortable room. Quiet. Bed was great. Restaurant looked nice but we didn't have an opportunity to eat there due to event functions
Outside building door to parking lot had broken lock. No safe or refrigerator.
Jasmine Marks was superb. We requested to change rooms because I was using my company card. Jasmine made the whole experience simple, efficient and pleasant. I travel frequently and unfortunately, front desk staff aren’t always accommodating. Jasmine was excellent.
Staff was amazing, friendly and helpful.
Old, old, old. The rooms apparently had a refresh but the refresh was poorly done. Painted over old worn walls and doors and door frames. Chips and cracks everywhere. Worse wall color made the room overly dark. Dark dirty carpet. The tub was clogged. Smelled like urine. I felt I was in a sleazy motel. This hotel is ruining Hilton’s reputation.
I stayed at the Campbell House for a conference in May. This older hotel has so much to offer -- great equestrian decor, extremely attractive (non-cookie-cutter) public spaces, spacious and comfortable sleeping rooms, and one of the best fitness centers I've come across. But it's also the first and only hotel I have ever encountered that has NO blackout shade or curtains in the sleeping rooms -- only a sheer Roman shade. I queried the front desk and got a shrug in response and "What solution do you propose?" I propose installing blackout shades so I'm not kept awake at night by the parking-lot lights and so I can have privacy in my first-floor room. The front desk claimed I was the first person ever to raise this issue, which I greatly doubt. In addition, the rooms have the poorest lighting I've ever encountered in a hotel. The entryway and closet area in particular are ridiculously dark. Finally, there were almost zero flat surfaces in either the sleeping room or the bathroom so one could set down items, and only one small dresser in a room with two queen beds that I shared with a colleague.
The Campbell House is so cozy. The food and drinks were amazing, one of my favorite places for dinner and brunch when I'm in Lexington.
There was no mini fridge in the room.
Comfortable rooms and beds. Carpet is dated. Staff is very friendly and amenable. Dining is very good pricing is as expected for a hotel. The convention facilities are excellent and the food service and staff are excellent.
Parking is ample. I can recommend this property.
Lovely property, needs updating but doesn’t take away from the experience as a whole.
Needs more counter space in bathroom

Front desk said they could not give me a receipt or tell me what the total cost for my room because it was booked through bookings. A week later I have still not received a receipt.
The Campbell House is truly a Lexington Kentucky landmark with a tremendous amount of character. Over the years it has gone through much transformation for the good. The entire hotel decor features a very warm equine theme. The RackHouse Restaurant and Bar feature a more bourbon trail theme that everyone enjoys after a day on the bourbon trail.
The hotel features many types of rooms. Do your research before booking so you get the room preferences you desire.
The customer service at the Campbell House is superb. Jasmine and CeCe at the front desk went out of their way to accommodate my room type and location request. I cannot thank them enough. Jasmine checked me out and split my bill between two types of payment without question. She’s a front desk pro!
The onsite bar is the best. Claire, Kelsey and Delaney are the best! Alex even went to the basement to get a vodka I requested. Over the top service. I had a burger and side salad. I left very full. The servings are always very generous.
Housekeeping did a complete cleaning after the first night at my request. The housekeeper was worth tipping! Bravo.
I have stayed at this hotel since the 1980’s. I have always found if there is something not to your liking just tell the front desk and they will do all they can to accommodate your requests!
Keys didn’t work, poorly maintained and ice machines didn’t work at any floor!
This old hotel needs a renovation. Steps to outdoor door to get to room falling apart and dangerous. No glass in room for water… just two plastic bottled water for $3 each. Took three trips to front desk for them to get our room key working in their faulty door sensors. Room was clean but hallway carpet definitely gross. For $300 I definitely expected more!
