Holiday for three
Pros:

we got a bigger room than we had booked. the location was good. parking is available across the road, at a good price.

Cons:

there was no air conditioning, there was a fan in the room.

Friendly staff, good location, and welcomed spa access, however poor overall value due to room amenities.
Pros:

The pool and spa access was great. The reception and bar were nice, and the staff very friendly.

Cons:

The room is on the edge of being dated, and repair works that have been completed appear to be of a poor standard. For the nightly rate, I would expect air-con and so the room was uncomfortably warm, even with the windows as wide open as they would go. Tried to run a bath early evening for our four year old daughter and the hot water went cold before we could draw enough to wash her. The water then stayed cold all night.

Lovely stay witb my Mum and Daughter
Pros:

Lovely stay. I parked in the wrong car park. The link the hotel sent, sent me to the carpark beside the hotel discounted car park. The receptionist should have asked at arrival. Seemly it happens all the time and was told the receptionist should have asked to ensure we were parking at the correct car park.
I was annoyed i didnt get the hotel discount parking.

The breakfast was fab however shocked the bread had mould on it. Reported to breakfast staff and they instantly took it away and replaced with fresh bread.

Overall the experience was great. I would recommend the hotel. Kilkenny is fab. I will be back.

Good service
Pros:

The location was perfect, basically in town. With parting right outside. Staff were very helpful! Over all very pleasant stay. Also, I left an items behind and they were so good to post it to me. They were helpful when I was trying to locate it. Very nice and helpful staff.

Very enjoyable stay
Pros:

The Ormonde is extremely comfortable with very professional and helpful staff. Stayed in triple room with friends which had ample space. Breakfast choices were great.

Would def use again for location and the pool kids loved it.

Very enjoyable relaxing stay
Pros:

I have stayed in this hotel on numerous occasions over the years and I have to say it’s my favourite hotel in Kilkenny.
I love the location, the staff are so helpful and polite the rooms are spacious and clean.
Breakfast is delicious everything from the full Irish to the continental and more!

Friendly central hotel
Pros:

We had a lovely stay recently. The pool was great for the kids with a nice depth kids pool. Breakfast was lovely too. Everyone was very friendly too.

Pros:

I had a amazing experience with the hotel and the staff.
I unfortunately had an accident just before I checked in. All I will say is the Manager and all the staff saved the day.

The hotel has an excellent location in the middle of the city.
The car park is across the road.
Food was excellent, breakfast Lunch and dinner.
As I was unable to work the room service was a lifesaver.

All the staff were outstanding 👏
