Overall, a great stay and fit the bill for what I needed.
Pros:

The location was great, I appreciated the 24-hour desk service. The design was unique and, while a no frills hotel, it was great for what I needed, which was basically just a place to lay my head 😊

Cons:

The shower/bathroom was a little tough. The shower has no division from the rest of the bathroom so flooding was definitely a risk.

Great spot in the heart of Amsterdam.
Pros:

Right in the heart of bustling Amsterdam. The rooms are small but clean. Staff is very friendly and accommodating but there is a makeshift reception area. Can’t beat the location right near train station and all the city has to offer.

Trip hazard within the room, nowhere to sit, tiny table, paint smells in the room were pervasive as the windows and balcony rails had been painted that day, lights hanging from cables….the safe broke during our stay and couldn’t be fixed. The wardrobe was a hat stand!
