Pros:

We made a reservation and paid for our stay months in advance. We emailed a week prior to our trip to confirm our stay which we received confirmation for. Upon arrival we were told they had overbooked and they did not have a room for us. A cab was provided to the hotel that they booked us in for and we were sent to the wrong hotel! The staff indicated that he had no idea what we were talking about. We walked a mile with our luggage to the correct hotel which was unacceptable-- dirty, dingy, and outdated. We had to fight with the hotel to get a refund and found our own accommodations. A very unfortunate and negative experience for our first time in Florence, Italy.

Wonderful stay!
Pros:

This hotel is a hidden gem! 10mins from the train station, accross from Mercato Centrale (please go there for lunch- lots of amazing food!), close to the Duomo and Uffizi. Rooms are clean, quiet and bed very comfortable! Staff is kind and always smiling. Breakfast was fantastic. Cannot wait to be back. Highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful building. A short walk to the Dumo and Piazza
Pros:

Beautiful converted convent just outside of the city walls but only 15 mins walk to the main Piazza. We had room 12 which had a small terrace with amazing views. Our room was comfortable and the air con was good. Staff were lovely and the breakfast was excellent.

Cons:

Nothing. It was excellent.

Great Place, Perfect Location
Pros:

My sister and I could not have been happier with our stay. The location is perfect, the building dates to the 1500's. Staff is top notch, helpful and personable, breakfast is good, as is the hot water and water pressure. Highly recommended.
