Would definitely stay here again.
Pros:

Quiet and plenty of free parking. Good breakfast bar. Lots of choices. Had a great Lakota speaker at the evening reception. He was excellent.

Cons:

No place within walking distance for dinner. Although a short drive to downtown.

Breakfast was very basic and same stuff every day. It could be more nutritious and healthy. If more appears like a rundown property. In terms of the room tariff, value for money is not there.

The pictures make the accommodations look more like the price paid. Very dark front “living” room with only a lamp to light the space. Tired and worn carpet. Powdered eggs at breakfast were terrible.

Swimming pool. Nice location. Staff was nice.

Cons:

We were in a room on the backside of the hotel with our 2 kids. People were smoking weed outside and we could smell it indoors. It was sturgis week and there were also always motorcycles near the outside door. All the noise would wake us up some days. Breaktfast was ok. We needed to ask the breakfast staff several times to refil the buffet. They were too busy with their phones in the storeroom,

This property was more than adequate for our stay.
Pros:

The property was located well, clean and comfortable. The shower head was older and should have been replaced. The breakfast was ok but not great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. While we did not attend an event at the Monument, this would be a great location for that.

Cons:

Shower head and the powdery eggs.
