Everything was great
Evi is a great person, she’s super sweet
Great location. On top of a tube station, across street from Hyde Park, around corner from Oxford street. Very luxurious small hotel. 150 rooms. Staff is friendly and helpful. Got upgraded to a suite as bonvoy platinum in mid summer. Lounge breakfast was good not great. Lounge evening snacks with wine and beer very good. Quality of room and bathroom outstanding. Most importantly AC works great. It was in the 90’s outside in late June.
5 stars for service, especially our server Vivian. He was friendly, knowledgeable and took exceptionally good care of us!
4 stars for the afternoon tea experience. Overall, it's good (and I've had A LOT of afternoon tea experiences throughout the UK).
The scones are actually some of the best I've had in a while. The sandwiches were good (the chicken was the best!) The only letdown was the desserts as they were overly sweet.
Not a bad experience by any means!
Again, shout out to Vivian!
We had a lovely afternoon tea experience. The atmosphere was elegant and relaxing, The presentation was absolutely beautiful and everything looked stunning.
A special thank you to our waiter, Vivian, who was very friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout our visit. His excellent service really added to the overall experience.

I went with my sister in law to Botanical afternoon tea in the Lanes of London restaurant at the Marriott Park Lane London.
We were served by Vivian who looked after us and whose knowledge of teas was exceptional, he made the whole experience very special.
The food, taste and presentation, was incredible.
I would thoroughly recommend.
Everything
Nothing
Excellent as always, quality service, quality rooms and linens. Executive lounge breakfast very good and lots of choice, and the bacon is crispy as it should be. Coffee was also excellent in the exec lounge which was a surprise. The pool is like a well kept secret!
Had afternoon tea here and it was great! Vivian, our waiter, took excellent care of us and gave great tea recommendations!
the room was beautiful - we enjoyed the executive lounge. The door staff were very friendly and we loved the location
i was surprised by the hidden charges on room service which essentially double the cost
I stayed here 5 nights as one of a group of Viking cruisers on the London Churchill post-cruise extension.
Viking chooses these pre- and post-cruise hotels with meticulous care, and the advantages of this hotel are clear: large well-furnished rooms and excellent location near bus and Tube stops. Heavily offsetting these virtues, the hotel faltered in these respects (which I have alerted Viking to):
No hot water in either sink or shower -- all my showers were cold. The hotel advertises that London newspapers are available for free, and that is technically true. I first saw the newspapers through the glass panes of the door to the Executive Lounge, but could not get in: The concierge very brusquely told me that as a member of a group reservation (the post-cruise tour), I'm ineligible to go into such an exalted place. Then I found the same newspapers in the restaurant/bar, but I could read them only at the expense of being repeatedly pestered to buy an alcoholic drink. I finally had to tell a very pushy server "My doctor has forbidden alcohol." The breakfast serving area there is cramped.
We are platinum status holders with Marriott. Gave us first floor room, mattresses paper thin, unaccommodating knowing we had children,
Why have a platinum level, because it doesn’t mean anything. Would not recommend this so-called boutique hotel
