Comfortable & breakfast !
Elevator is SLOW
Food was very good. Staff was great.
One lamp on desk didn't work.
The breakfast was great. They served many favorites. Biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, waffles, cereal, yogurt and fresh fruit.
That I didnt stay longer.
The pool with the view of the mountains in the background was stunning! This was my favorite part about it. They also had a really good breakfast spread. Everyone in my family is picky and likes different things so it was nice that we all found something. Great location for walking to multiple places in town. The beds were good with lots of pillows and comfy blankets.
The paint on the room's front door was chipping off and the hook on the bathroom door was loose so I didn't hang our towels on it for fear it would break further. I didn't like the couch. The material was scratchy and I avoided sitting on the couch because of it. One of the outlets didn't work so we thought our lamp was broken, but we plugged it into the second outlet below and it worked. Overall, it was a great stay and those were just minor little things compared to the things we liked about the place.
It’s just a few mins walk into town with all the restaurants etc. and also down to the river. So much to do close by and great to have the pool and free breakfast/parking included. Spacious rooms and great beds.
The walls are very thin. We heard our neighbours unfortunately…
Front Office lady was great. Check in quick and early since our room was ready. The lady that did the breakfast each morning was super friendly. She had a sweet smile and said good morning to each person she saw come in to eat. Customer service was amazing!
(Im sorry I dont have names. I didn't have my glasses on.)
We took our furbabies and we had a relaxing mini vacation!!
Clean facility, friendly staff.
Breakfast was great and servers did amazing.
Main office staff were not friendly or helpful.
We stayed in room # 317 which was a deluxe room with a king bed and a fireplace for $153.13/$170.89. The bed was comfortable and there was a sitting area with a loveseat and a fireplace was situated below the TV. The room was retro decorated with an orange accent wall and old style lamps. The floor in front of the kitchenette creaked when you walked in that area, which made me concerned that I might wake up the guests directly beneath me in the morning. The bathroom had a lighted mirror with additional lighting overhead. The hotel has two painted murals, one on each outside end wall. There is a hotel lobby that you can sit in and watch TV. There is an elevator and a small, heated outdoor pool. A conference room is used for breakfast. There were many food choices and there was a breakfast attendant working diligently to ensure everything was well stocked. The biscuits were soft, warm, and tasty. We were greeted by two separate housekeeping employees in the morning who both wished us a good morniung. Both front desk employees were helpful during check-in and check-out. Even though the building is over 30 years old, it was the best experience we had of our ten nights stays at hotels on our trip. We had a peaceful, quiet night's sleep.
Clean and convenient location, breakfast was great, and the staff were so sweet to my partner and I. We paid for a checkout extension, and maintenance came to our room but quickly turned away when they realized we were still there. The front desk called unannounced and apologized and even gave us a gift when checkout came! Amazing!!!
No complaints!
Quick overnight stay on our way through town. I did not get to use the pool due to our tight schedule but it looked lovely. Others say the hotel floors are dirty and yes, the elevator flooring is worn but it's an old building. The beds were clean and comfortable and the bathroom was worn but clean.
