Our stay in NOLA was only a one day one night stay. We, my brother, my daughter and I, wanted to go to the World War II Museum, so we decided to make the short trip. We live in Mississippi. The hotel is in the perfect location, a very short walk. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, the breakfast was good and considering the hotel is in the art district, it was quieter than I expected. When we first arrived we did notice a few homeless people, but they didn’t bother us and they cleared out when the sun started going down. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
The one thing I didn’t like about the property was the parking. Even though parking is literally right behind the hotel, you have to pay. That’s why we decided to stay at that hotel. It’s a short walk to the museum and restaurants. I’ve been to NOLA quite a bit over the years. I have ex-in-laws who still live there and I remember when you could park anywhere and it didn’t cost you. One other thing I didn’t like was putting up a $100 deposit. I very rarely travel anymore, but when I do I have never had to pay a deposit. As I write this review, it hasn’t been quite a week yet since our stay, so I haven’t received my deposit back yet. They say the deposit will be returned in seven days, we’ll see if that’s true or not in a few days.

Als ich ankam ging ich zur Rezeptionistin. Leider viel ihr genau zu diesen Zeitpunkt ein, dass sienoch etwas dringendes am PC fertig machen musste. Ok, dachte ich, kann passieren. Nach ca 2 Min., in den sie mich keines Blicjes gewürdigt hatte, sagte ich, dass ich ein Zimmer reserviert hätte. Keine Reaktion. Irgendwann hatte sie - glücklicherweise - Zeit für mich und gab mir den Schlüssel. Dass das Frühstück praktisch nur aus zuckerhaltigen Speisen, mit einem äusserst bescheidenem Früchteangebor, bestand, spielte keine Rolle mehr. Der erste Kontakt ist für mich entscheidend. Während meinen zahlreichen Reisen in die USA ist mir soetwas noch nie passiert.
The location was great
The cleanliness of the facility is not to our liking. The housekeeping team did not pay attention to detail. First, checked into room 909. At first glance I noticed the shower had visible stains. Then I moved into room 905 and noticed the same thing. I asked one of the employees to provide us with cleaning supplies, and she did. When I used the spray bottle she gave me, I started to move dirt with a simple spray. There was a lot of leftover hair in the tub, and I found some hair on the dry towels as well. We noticed stains on the sheets in 905 as well. The front desk lady was kind enough to change them for me. The breakfast was great!

Perfect location
Was charged 50 dollár deposit,which I still did not get back.
Was not told I would have to pay with taxes 48 dollars a day for parking!! My cousins had to move to another room due to bed bugs. Our room was nice except for the squeaking bathroom door. There were smoking areas without ash trays and no umbrellas. There was also a big rat that I told the staff about who is living inside the wall in the smoking area.

breakfast . The pancake machine was awful. No flavor and did not work well. Bring on the waffle maker!!
The staff were very friendly, and my room was comfortable. My breakfast was good, and the coffee was nice to wake me up in the morning. The hotel is not far from the French Quarter, and I enjoyed walking around the neighborhood.
Nice staff and clean facility
No decent parking, My car was hit and run . Private parking they are affilatrd with has a sign “Park at youre Own risk , Imagine 40 usd a night.
The extra cost for parking, was told parking was included with stay. Upon checking out there was an extra 240.00 debited from my account, will not be coming back to that hotel

Cool spot
Loved our stay, front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming. Beds were very comfortable as were the pillows wish I could have taken one home!

Enjoyed this hotel. It has good sized room, good breakfast, and location is walkable to the French Quarter (20-30mins, however UBER is inexpensive) and the World War 2 Museum which is around the corner. There is the added bonus the hop on off bus has a stop at the Museum making this hotel a star selection.
Avoid 6th floor that currently (July 2026) has wifi blind spot and i had to be relocated. Sure this will be corrected as its a minor flaw on a great business.

Towels had pubic hairs, tissue paper box had used tissue paper, no a/c.
