Las camas son muy pequeñas para 2 personas y por más que lo intenté no tenia opción de mejorar el tamaño o el nivel de la habitación.
Location is excellent - personally I love the area, it is super walkable and tons of great food/drink options and even a great (world renowned) cocktail bar right in the building. Bed was comfy and room was clean.
OVerall room was very dated and not to the level of standard I would expect for the Brand/Chain nor price point. Shower door in the bathroom didnt fully close so leaked water in to the rest of the bathroom a bit.

The staff, when available, were courteous and friendly.
A meal at the restuarant was good.
I never got the heat to work. The staff finally brought a portable unit, but it did not work well – I literally sat with the unit cutched between my thighs, supposedly on its highest setting, and still felt chilly. Only one small bottle of potable water was supplied, and it was difficult to procure more -- in fact, it was difficult to get timely service on anything; I ended up having to go down to the front desk a couple of times.
There was very little legible signage as to how to use the phone, order room service, etc. One sign directed me to use a QR code in order to see a menu; when I tried to use it, it seemed to require me to install an app on my phone (the last thing I need on my phone is more apps). The labels on the buttons on the phone in the room were so tiny that I had to take a photo and enlarge it in order to read them.
Part of the difficulties was that most of the staff spoke no English – I realize I'm in their country and it's up to me to learn Spanish; but one might hope for a little more English in a large hotel near the center of the capital of Mexico.

Nice location. Walkable neighborhood and central to reach most of the city by public transport. Big enough room for the three of us. Friendly and helpful staff.
Not five star standard by any means. Plaster was crumbling from walls in our room and the hallways. Our first room was to the north with very loud karaoke bars audible until early morning. They were kind enough to give us a new room on the south side where it was just the usual traffic noise. However, the new room had other issues, mainly a leak dripping from the ceiling in the bathroom. Power outlets weren’t working in the bathroom nor next to the big mirror.
Housekeeping made up the room while we were gone and the leak was still just dripping onto the countertop next to the sink. So they must have noticed but ignored it.
There were other smaller issues such as dust or the mirror hanging crooked due to a missing screw. They gave us only two towels (for the three of us) and then removed one of them without replacing a new one, which all added up to feeling more like three stars at best.
We have stayed in NH collection hotels in different countries and they always had a very high standard, so this was disappointing.

The location
There is not enough light in the rooms, the beds felt like air mattress. The staff has no sense of urgency. I get that they are busy but front desk is in a rush and hang up the phone immediately. The bathroom was basically like a no door. Not sound proof!
Excellent and diverse breakfast, with very service-minded and positive staff – the best possible start to the day! An extra bonus was that breakfast opened already at 06:00.
We had a spacious and well-designed suite with a balcony. The location is also very good, in a lively neighbourhood with a multitude of restaurants and other dining options. Most major tourist attractions are within easy reach, while both the airport and the main bus station are around 30 minutes away by taxi.
The suites with balconies are located on several different floors, and those on the lower floors have rather limited views. A room higher up provides a significantly better experience.
Sadly, the hotel has a highly inefficient check-in process. Staff seem to need close to 10 minutes per guest simply to enter information into the system and issue a room key. This creates unnecessary waiting times and frustration, especially when several guests arrive at the same time. Bad start of the stay. The interaction (first impression) would clearly benefit from being streamlined and given proper system support.
Loved this hotel. The staff are so friendly & warm. Especially Eric who we chatted to daily about the football. Even thou we had come to see family (we moved onto another hotel 4 days later - 2 hrs drive away; for our son’s wedding); we wore our England shirts to watch the football…..sadly we lost lol. Our 2 rooms were spotlessly clean & the maids did a fantastic job every day. We ate here once for lunch…..lovely and the breakfast every morning had so much selection and was to die for.

O atendimento da recepção poderia ser melhor pelo nível do hotel. Poucos funcionários para atender e, às vezes, você precisava de uma ajuda básica e precisava esperar mais de dez minutos até alguém conseguir falar com você.
