Not worth the money
Pros:

Despite the unfriendly personnel and the fact that our room basically only had a fake window, we enjoyed the central position.

Cons:

The window of our room looked onto a wall in a shaft and there was no light whatsoever coming in at any time of the day.
The room was shabby and old, some furniture was in dire need of replacement. We asked for a change of room (we were ready to pay more) and the young lady working at the reception the night of our arrival was extremely unfriendly, unhelpful and arrogant. She really ruined our stay with her attitude.
The hotel calls itself luxury but the service, the structure and the cleanliness are far from good standards.
Absolutely not worth the money we spent.

**Excellent hotel!** The location is very central, close to all the subway stations. There is no breakfast served at the hotel, but there are plenty of nice places to eat nearby. The hotel is clean, quiet, and pleasant.

Really nice rooms in very central area. I booked 2 rooms and one was upgraded which was really nice ! Staff helpful and facilitated early check in which was really helpful.

Pros:

The location near Boston Common and the Park Street T is excellent. And the sense of calm in the decor is a welcome change from the street. Also, the "complimentary" glass of wine between 4 & 5 is a nice touch.

Cons:

I arrived on a Sunday so the restaurant was closed. Also... a 4 pm check-in makes it difficult unless you are on some kind of late transportation schedule. If a hotel next door had a room and had offered a 3 pm check-in, I would have gone there.

Great hotel in a great location!
Pros:

The hotel is in a faboulous location with easy access to the Freedom Trail, Boston Common, four different T lines, etc. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and stylish and the employees were helpful and friendly. They also brought microwaves to our rooms upon request.

Cons:

It would have been nice to have a regular door (rather than a revolving one) at the front entrance. To use a regular door, one had to go to the side by where the valet was, which was less convenient, but not a big hassle.
