The shower was dirty and old, but the room was clean and comfortable.
Pros:

Location. Comfortable room.

Cons:

Window blinds were a mystery. Buttons were not labeled at all, as suggested in the hotel’s online guide. Had to push every button until something happened.

Our shower was old, dirty, and lacking in multiple ways. 1) there was a lot of mildew in the grout 2) the tub was quite slippery, and you could see stains where there had presumably been grip pads previously, 2) the shower controls were a guessing game, and one of them, presumably for the handheld wand, did nothing, 3) the tub coating was broken away in one spot, so you could see the black metal under the white coating.

Classy and close to everything!
Pros:

Joie! She welcomed us our first night and took the time to give us all the recommendations that we needed and checked on us throughout our stay. The rooms were spacious and decor was classy. Cleaning was consistently on point. We felt safe and were close to everything!

Cons:

The rooms were too dark. Some people like a cave and maybe I am getting old but if it’s too dark to tell navy from black then there’s a problem.
The bed was too soft. Again maybe we are getting old.
There was no vent in the bathroom 😬.
The elevator doors open concerningly slow.

总体来说，是波士顿入住的良选。
Pros:

地段位置优越，就在老城区Boston Common门口，红线绿线橙线的地铁也很近。房间够大，设施维持得很好，很干净，员工亲切。床品很舒适。

Cons:

将近500美金的酒店入住4晚，只在入住时给了2瓶水，指望客人饮用mini bar的水的话，说实话不是待客之道。

Noisy area, poor services for the price of the hotel.

Size of the room

Cons:

Getting destination charge $40 per day for WiFi . It is not acceptable in the world. Offering a glass of wine can not be considered as a Happy Hour. I am a global traveler and this is ridiculous.

A great hotel all around
Pros:

This hotel is spectacular in every way: well-appointed rooms, excellent location, great staff. I LOVED the Eames chair in my room — wish I could have taken it home with me in my luggage. 😀 You can't beat the location, just a block or so from Boston Common, close to a busy transit station, steps from the Massachusetts State House and across the street from the cemetery where Paul Revere, John Hancock and Sam Adams are all buried. (Adams' grave appropriately looks out on a pub next-door to the hotel.) Sherley at the front desk was super helpful and surprised me with an upgrade to a room with the perfect view! (See photo.) If I ever return to Boston, I will most definitely want to stay again at the AKA. Superb!

We would stay again despite the dimness of the room.
Pros:

The location is excellent. It is well maintained and quiet. Our deluxe king room was spacious even with 2 open suitcases.

Personnel très sympa et hotel très bien.

Cons:

Nous avons payé en avance, et une fois sur place avons été prélevé une seconde fois malgré que l’hôtesse d'accueil nous ai confirmé que tout était bien payé.
Une fois que nous avons demandé le remboursement sur second prélèvement, on ne nous a pas tout remboursé. Des frais surprise dont il n'a jamais été question nous sont facturés et nous devons maintenant nous battre pour obtenir justice.
Oui l’hôtel est très bien et les gens sont super, mais je n'aime pas la démarche du second prélèvement "par erreur" pour soutirer des frais non annoncés !
