The photos on Booking.com were nowhere close to what my room looked like . The curtains were filthy and the place is pretty much run down. The photos need to show the actual state of the rooms that we are paying for .

Good base for lovely trip to cairns and surrounding area
Pros:

The location was good if you’re happy walking to the esplanade. The pool was great and open in the evening so could have a swim after days out .

Cons:

Bathroom could do with updating and could do with an extractor fan.

the lovely lady at the counter, that helped us check out.

Cons:

apart from getting the wrong number to our room and tried to open someone else’s room and then the manager on night was helpful to help us find the actual right room but had a very rude attitude towards us particularly my partner and also couldn’t get ahold of the after hours number at all we tried calling for nearly 10mins, we unfortunately couldn’t call any earlier to notify them as we had no reception as our flight was delayed.
