The noise at night.
It was hot, the room was boiling hot. This is clearly not the girls fault, but with the window open all we could hear was an extraction fan. When that went off at 11 (thank goodness), the music started 🙄

Beautiful building, approachable, friendly staff, well appointed room. Great location with an impressive Pickled Sprout with quality food!
Unfortunately due to the heatwave the small double room we had was unbearably warm, also due to overlooking the rear of the building on 3rd floor we had very early, continuous loud noise from delivery staff. Also some bottled water in the room would have been appreciated.

Location
Initially the poor room we were allocated. The room we were allocated had a circus theme which was enough to give nightmares. The wooden surround on the four poster bed. We felt the mattress should have gone all the way to the edges of the frame.
Good location, very central
The room we were in had no windows or air conditioning meaning the room was absolutely boiling hot. It was the worst nights sleep me and my partner have had, we informed the staff it was very hot in the room and they just laughed. We had a fan in our room that was broken and just blew hot air around the room. The Premier Inn in Harrogate has air con and honestly wish we had booked this instead for the same price.
Our room was very clean but incredibly small and backed out onto the back of the hotel where all the kitchen extractors etc were so the room smelt like it had been deep fried! It was incredibly hot (yes we stayed during the very warm weather), but couldn't have the window open (because of the smell) and the "fan" was completely useless, so we didn't really get much sleep.
We were supposed to stay for three nights but checked out after 2.
Everything! I can highly recommend this as a great place to stay. Our first trip to Harrogate for our wedding anniversary. The room was excellent. We ate at The Pickled Sprout, food was superb and the staff were so friendly. Don’t think I have ever had a better stay that prompts me to write such a glowing review! Will definitely return!
