Location was great
Stayed in room 112 and it was unbearably hot with no window went down and requested water which I was given then was charged for the water after check out paying so much for the room and not receiving complementary water was a shock
The location is excellent for restaurants, walks and shops.
Although our room was clean and comfortable with a bath which we requested, it was at the back of the hotel which was opposite some restaurants.
Unfortunately, the bins were emptied every morning in the early hours (between 5 & 6 o'clock), which woke us up, and we found it difficult to get back to sleep.
A young hotel receptionist came out to show me where the last car space was,
This is our third visit here and we have found that the staff are always first class.
Amazing staff beautiful rooms and food was delicious!
Nothing
Location
Lack of air con, room to hot
It was very central
Third floor needs a refurbishment. Dirty carpets and windows. Carpets didn’t even go to the end of the room.
Excellent central hotel
Clean and Tidy
Good Staff
The Pickled Sprout is excellent with Excellent Staff.
Very central
Nothing about the hotel , but they were working outside putting up a big wheel
The Yorkshire is in a great location, right in the center of Harrogate. The rooms aren't huge, but adequate and have everything you need and are very clean. The staff are very friendly and really care for their guests. Overall I would definitely reccomend staying here.
The shower pressure was poor. The lift was also being used by the staff to transport food/bedding meaning we had to wait quite a while on a few occurrences. Thesr are very minor things however!
We were at a wedding so perfect for their venue . Staff helpful and polite
Lack of car parking . Only 2 small lifts not easy when in a wheel chair
Location, on site resteraunt
The room was very warm. We had to have the window open all night which made it noisy. There seemed to be a lot going on outside the window.
I cannot fault the cleanness as that was amazing.
For £175 we basically just got a bed. Way too expensive and will not be returning. If we were not attending the event for the wedding we would not have chose to just have a small room for £175.
I am pregnant, high risk and because the lifts basically had their own mind, I had to walk up the stairs (which were a maze to start with) each time I walked up stairs it put pressure on my stomach and hurt me alot. I had to go to the doctor after staying here as the pains in my abdomen was horrendous after having to walk up the countless stairs
Location
Cleanliness
Having the pub attached
Breakfast was not the best
Everyone was so friendly and polite. The hotel being in the centre of the town was so convenient for walking and site seeing. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
We didn't find anything to dislike.
