Our 10 days were a lovely experience and love the nice touch of the anniversary note to us.
Pros:

The location is spectacular. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We appreciated their ability to speak English. Kim in the roof top restaurant and downstairs was so wonderful. She provided great service and had such a friendly manner. Our concierge was also helpful in planning our boat day.

Cons:

The room was a bit smaller than I expected, and the AC never really seemed to get cold, but it was manageable.

Room was well furnished, clean and comfortable. Good breakfast although a bit expensive. the hotel located in a quiet street but a short walk gets you to the beach and the city center.

Cons:

Won't call it a pool just an oversized jacuzzi without the jets.

Pros:

Room was excellent we stayed in the Dleuxe room and it met all our needs, the staff were amazing. Even ensuring the right flowers and drinks were in the room to make the stay super special. The staff could not have done more 10 out of 10.

Cons:

The hotel felt tired and in need of some refurbishment. Our room was quite shabby, with scuffed and marked paintwork around the door frames, and the area around the coffee cabinet looked stained and worn. At first glance it appeared dirty, but it actually seemed more like it simply needed repainting and refreshing.

Unfortunately, the scent used throughout the hotel wasn’t to our taste and detracted from the overall experience.

On a positive note, the rooftop bar was lovely and was definitely the highlight of our stay, with a great atmosphere and a much more polished feel than the rest of the hotel.

Nice hotel but not worth the price tag
Pros:

Staff was great, everybody super friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was also very good, with something for everyone and in a nice location.
The rooftop bar Quinto Cielo has a lovely view, the food is italian inspired, tasty and reasonably priced.

Cons:

Not great value for money, rooms are tiny and a bit oldish, tv wasn’t working, the shower wasn’t properly functioning either. The pool is not really a pool but more a big jacuzzi and the spa area is limited to a sauna.

Exquisite boutique hotel - like a sanctuary
Pros:

I loved staying at the 1932 Hotel & Spa. It was like a sanctuary. Everything was impeccable - the decor, the cleanliness, the service. The location is perfect for being able to easily walk around town. The rooftop terrace offers an exquisite view. We spent time there enjoying drinks, lunch and being outside. Having the overnight hotel parking is a big plus. My room was small so next time I'll ask for a larger room. I'd love to return.
