We really enjoyed the pool
The room was not what was advertised on the website. We were expecting an inside room with a jacuzzi inside and what we got was an outdoor room with a very tiny bathroom and a shower that was coming apart.
The staff was very friendly...the area was good bc it was plenty to do even if you walked..the breakfast was good
The only thing is we had no microwave in our room so we had to walk across to office/ breakfast area to warm our food up n how we couldn't vape outside our room we had to walk downstairs to designated area.
Great location on the strip, there was a lot of great things to do very close.
No microwave in our room.
All the staff that I had interactions with were all very friendly.
The place is absolutely filthy, gross and very unmaintained. In our room, there was hair in the bathtub, on the bathroom floor, a used/dirty towel from a previous customer hanging in the bathroom, a tee shirt laying on the floor, leftover yogurt in the fridge, paint chips on the floor from where a dog scratched up the door, shredded up carpet by the door, absolutely no seal on the door and most of all, the room smelled like pee. I honestly can’t think of anything positive to say. It was incredibly loud because the door didn’t seal, it stunk like crazy and had other peoples filth left in it. Another thing I saw was that several support beams that hold up the upper walk way looked like the bases were almost rusted through. I’m no engineer, but that’s just asking to get people hurt or killed if the upper walkway collapsed. This place is some section 8 level garbage. I wish I had known that before I reserved the room.
Close to everything.
The rooms are not worth the price. It’s a sub par room
The overall location was good
The AC didn't work maintenance came out and claimed it was working so not true. The smoke detector was beeping he didn'teven change the battery. The room was roach infested. Roaches were in the bed as soon as we pulled the covers back to disinfect it. I thought when we found and killed them that was the end, but boy was I wrong. We went to get food left it sitting on the table for a minute the roaches started coming out of the wood work. The on-site receptionist would not accommodate us. She kept saying her manager would not allow her to do anything beneficial to accommodate our stay. On another note the guy at choice hotels corporate office did an exceptional job and placed us at a different location expeditiously.
Mainly the location. It was close to most of the shows we were planning to see. They did make sure we were on the ground floor - which I had requested due to not being able to climb steps very well. The staff was friendly.
It's an older motel and it shows. You could see all the way around the door into the room and it stuck. You had to shove it to open it and hank on it to close it. The room had a bad smell when we first went in. A deodorizing spray did help that, but it shouldn't have smelled that way in the first place. We were near the vending area and that area also had a bad odor. It was more than just a "musty" smell, it was bad! No idea what caused it. The room was clean, but it just had an odor! We were only given 2 washclothes and 4 towels. I thought they were very stingy with those! There was not any room service (or clean towels) until the last day we were there (we stayed 4 days). If we wanted fresh ones, we had to take our dirty ones up to the office and they would give us clean ones - and we still only got TWO washclothes! When it's hot, you sometimes want to be able to wash your face during the day or maybe wash your feet off, but you only got TWO washclothes! I paid for the room in advance and it wasn't refundable or I would have left and gotten a different motel!
I like the motel but they didn't have the hot tube working.
Location
There was mold in the bathroom. We bought bathroom cleaner to get it cleaned. The AC was not very cold. The pool was filthy. Things floating in it. My husband just had a procedure a few days before our stay. I tried to cancel or reschedule but this hotel wouldn’t do it. So we came even after the procedure. He had a miserable time and was unable to rest until we bought a fan. Jacuzzi was shut down. No mention of that in the website
The pictures on the website are not what the rooms look like!!!
The room had a bad smell, and the comforter did not appear to be clean. We also saw what looked like a rat in the elevator (although we weren’t sure if it was a hamster, someone’s pet). The pool area smelled like mold, which I believe may have been from the carpet staying wet and not being properly cleaned. The hot tub was also out of order.
On top of that, there was a separate hotel fee that was charged, which was disappointing given the overall condition of the property. The location was good, but the cleanliness and maintenance issues need improvement.
