I think this hotel is the best deal when going/coming to the Ottawa airport.
Pros:

They had a very early breakfast available which was superb for our very early flight.

Back to the 1999
Pros:

Close to most eateries and not too far from Ottawa city attractions. Staff were friendly. Check in was swift and no issues. The breakfast was sufficient. A nice spread of morning goodies. The fruit platter was delicious.

Cons:

Im not to sure how old this hotel is but it seems like it needs a deep clean. The hotel, especially down the corridor towards our room, has a very musky old stale air smell. Some of the light fitting are covered in spider webs in front of the hotel room doors. The room seemed dated, and It didn't feel fresh and Inviting. The tv is extremely old. Smart tvs a standard feature with YouTube and Netflix. We felt like we traveled back in time. My boys,ages 3 and 9 were not happy. Please upgrade those dated tvs. The rooms are not well isolated against noise. We could hear the guest next door conversation on their arrival to their room,while standing n our washroom. The next morning I had a guest in my bathroom floor,a decent size cricket. Luckily it didn't make the noise its known for during the night. Like a mentioned I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, but the serving area is very cramped. So here are some suggestions for management to look into:
1- Deep clean the Hotel, inside out. Steam clean those musky smelling carpets.
2- introduce air purifiers in the entrance lobby area and the corridors, replace the AC filters.
3 - please clean those light shades
4- update those dates tvs.
5- brighten up those rooms, too much dark furniture.
6- improve the breakfast feeding station by moving the lobby waiting sofas further away.
These are all easy items to fix with very little money to be spent. The rewards will be noticeable from day 1.
This little hotel is in a very profitable location. I didnt expect to travel back in time, with simple standarda overlooked and dated rooms.
