The rooms were beautiful, everyone was friendly, and our Valet, Mark, was spectacular! Super kind, friendly, fun, and great at his job! The atmosphere and decorations were lovely, everything was clean and nice! My only complaint was that the pool was broken and there was an elevator that was out of service. Other than that, superb!

The Courtyard Marriott in downtown Norfolk was clean, conveniently located and the staff was all very kind and helpful! I used the valet parking as well and Na’Diya was wonderful and did an excellent job, she also explained the local bus system to me so that I didn’t have to pay for Ubers. Would definitely stay here again!

The Valet attendant Mark was extremely professional, friendly and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain the digital valet system and made sure we were comfortable. He also promoted us to take a moment to provide a review.

Alyssa made check-in a breeze. She was polite and professional. She was extremely helpful to make sure we got settled.

The room was clean and spacious. We love that the love seat & chair provided an area for us to sit and relax. The bathroom is dated with a few modern touches.

The hotel was easy to find and conveniently located just 2-3 blocks from interstate. We were here for a wedding and the location was close to the venue. Overall I would recommend this hotel and choose to return the next time I have business in Norfolk.

I would like to give thanks to Mark at valet. He was very thorough in explaining my parking options and very friendly and courteous. He presented a great personality and professionalism.

In the financial centre if the city and was easy to reach on the light rail one stop from the Amtrak station. Front desk staff member that checked me in didn't seem that interested in me. One lift out of use. Room was spacious and comfortable. Bathroom in good order though one of the three containers in the shower was empty. WiFi worked well. Breakfast was basically service at the bar to order. Coffee in a paper Starbucks cup and the cooked item I had wasn't brilliant for extra I had paid.

Valet was great. Location is great. BUT! Room smells like a dirty litter box. Clerk at the desk couldn’t be bothered to assist us in getting a spoon that had not been stocked in the Market.

Mark in valet was awesome, this is a great hotel and staff.

Jermaine with valet was amazing- he gets 5 stars! Price for hotel was too high for subpar accommodations.Womens lobby bathroom was either not opened or had no toilet paper. Will be staying elsewhere in the future.

At the present time this hotel isn't up to Marriott 's standards. It's my understanding new management came in 6 months ago & is working to improve things, but they've still got a ways to go. We were there seven nights. Our room was supposed to be refreshed daily but wasn't. The food at the buffet provided to our tour group was mediocre & often lukewarm. One elevator was out of service the entire time we were there, leaving just one elevator to service an 8-story hotel. Worst of all, items of personal property were stolen from our room. While management responded appropriately when we reported the theft, the incident ended our stay on a sour note.

Mark was courteous and professional. Very nice and explained everything. Definitely an asset to your business.
