Millennium Premier is in such a great location! And I love the newly renovated rooms! Monique at the Concierge area is always so welcoming and I love seeing her smiling face each time I stay. Natalie in reservations was fantastic as she helped me navigate a tricky reservation scenario. This is definitely my “go to” hotel in NYC! It’s so convenient for seeing Broadway shows, too.
I’m actually blown away by the service we received at check-in. Monique is an absolute angel. We came to NYC to celebrate a special occasion, and she made us feel so celebrated! In addition, the room is tidy, comfortable, and well-appointed, with several small thoughtful touches that took us by surprise and made us smile. Finally, the hotel’s location is unbeatable.
Monique and the Millennium Premier have earned a special place in our family celebration memory. Thank you!
I came to the Millennium Premier to celebrate my birthday and had an amazing experience. Monique was so kind to my friends & I. The hotel is very nice and clean. Amazing location. Highly recommend.
1000/10 experience Monique was the best concierge ever made the check in easy and seamless!
Monique was so helpful and professional! Outstanding customer service! :)
Monique Madison is the best Concierge.
She made sure our check-in was seamless and we had best room.
This hotel is in a perfect location and a 2 minute walk to Time Square.
PLEASE NOTE: This property had a major renovation in March-May 2026 so I would suggest only reading reviews starting in June 2026.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE MILLENNIUM PREMIER HOTEL TIMES SQUARE!
There is a much larger "Millennium Hotel Times Square" next door (actually, the Hudson Theater is between that hotel and the Premier). That hotel has over 600 rooms but has not been renovated in a while from what I've read. The MILLENNIUM PREMIER HOTEL TIMES SQUARE has 124 rooms which were all renovated in 2026. It's a smaller "boutique" version and it is great.
We booked for 5 nights online, easy to do. We booked the Executive King High Floor room which is over 370 square feet which in New York City is a very large room, but not at a large price. The average room rate was $340 per night including all taxes and fees.
The check-in was easy and fast (2 minutes with a live person). Viviana, Monique and all the staff are helpful, friendly, and professional. Our room was on the 18th floor. There are only 6 rooms on that floor. Ours was right next to the elevator. As you walk, a large bathroom is on the left. The bathroom has a full bathtub and a separate shower stall with fixed and hand-held shower head. There's a reasonably sized sink counter for putting various toiletries out.
On the right is an area with a coffee maker and supplied coffee, a mini-frig (holds about 6-8 cans or bottles 12-16 oz.) and a closet for clothing and some storage drawers. There's also a hair dryer, iron and ironing board in the closet. In our room we were given two bottles of water each day. More water is available on the 2nd floor (more on that later).
There was a king-size bed. On each side was a small nightstand with one drawer and open storage underneath. Each side of the bed has 2 small lights, a small reading light, 2 U.S. 110V electrical outlets and a USB port - YES, all that on BOTH SIDES of the bed. There is also a small work desk in an alcove next to the bed with a rolling chair and there are plugs on the wall and even plugs in the table. On the other side of the room (yes, it's long enough so you can walk to the other side of the room), there's a chaise chair. There's a large-screen TV that pulls out so you can turn it to view from the bed. One of the only issues (and they were all minor) is right now, the hotel offers 34 cable TV channels (such as MSNOW, Fox News, HGTV, Nickelodeon, E!, ESPN) but no local New York Stations or the major networks (CBS, NBC, Fox, ABC, PBS). They do not know if and when they will be adding the local stations.
In the morning on the 2nd floor, there is a "grab and go" breakfast. They clearly state (although some people are confused) that this is not a hot meal/buffet. There's usually bagels and cream cheese, some small pastries and croissants, other small items, as well as coffee, tea, water dispenser and bottled chilled water, orange, apple and cranberry juice. If you want you can eat it in their lounge area which is nice and has reasonable seating available, or grab it and take it to your room or along with you to have later. Later in the day they may have out some small bags of potato chips or nuts. We found this was quite sufficient for our needs. If you need a big breakfast, plenty of places to grab something within a block.
(By the way, across the street is Gatsby's Landing restaurant, open for lunch and dinner. Prices are quite reasonable for New York, food was delicious, also a very friendly professional staff. We had dinner one night with friends, then brunch on Sunday. The brunch portions were quite large and a good value.)
As to location, if you are seeing Broadway shows, many theaters are very close. As I noted before, the Hudson Theater is next door, and in fact there's a door from the hotel lobby leading into the ticket lobby of the theater. We went to a show at the St. James Theater - just over one block walk. The Golden Theater - just over two blocks. Nederlander Theater - three blocks. There are a number of other theaters in this same area. You're also only 4 blocks (5 minute walk) from the TCKTS discount show discounts location on Times Square. We have stayed in other hotels in the area in the past, but the combination of convenient location, friendly professional personnel, a newly refurbished hotel, a room where you can reach out from your bed and not touch a wall (i.e. the really tiny rooms in many hotels which are not cheap!) and reasonable pricing will make this our first choice hotel in the future.
If you need a kitchenette or something like that, this would not be the hotel for you, but for most everyone else looking for value and if you find this location works for you (only a 10 minute walk to Rockefeller Center!), I can't recommend this enough.
My one other minor issue to be aware of: Our room was right next to the elevators. I noticed the sound of the elevators at times when in the bedroom even though the elevators are next to the bathroom walls. My partner did not notice that. It's not particularly bad, but if you are sensitive to such sounds, you can ask for a room further down the hall (which is only about 20 more feet since only 6 rooms on most of the floors).
I've attached some photos to give an idea of how the room is laid out since the ones on the hotel site aren't always clear about the space. Our room was on a corner so we had one long glass wall and a smaller side glass wall. The view from 18 wasn't particularly fancy "TIMES SQUARE" stuff but you aren't staring into the wall of another building just feet away as with some hotels.
The entire experience was perfect. From check in to check out. The hotel is beautiful. The Hotel Team especially Monique and Hector were absolutely professional, knowledgeable, and welcoming. Top tier Service and Style.
We were in town for 3 nights over the 4th of July and had a wonderful stay. Location is perfect and right at Times Square. Rooms were surprisingly quiet being that close to Times Square. Very affordable for spacious rooms in the city. Monique-who helped us with check-in- was amazing!! We arrived before check-in time and she was able to graciously accommodate us and provide us with an upgraded room. She was very professional and welcoming. Our room was very clean and housekeeping was wonderful. We were able to enjoy small breakfast and coffee that was included each morning. We will be back!
My daughter and I were moved to the Millennium Premiere for our two night stay. Monique was wonderfully welcoming and helpful as we navigated the change in our reservation. She made it clear that she wanted us to have the best stay that we could. The hotel itself is beautiful. It is a smaller space which felt so nice after stepping out into the city. The space is gorgeous. Our room felt spacious, welcoming and so comfortable. Our view was amazing- the NYE ball was outside of our window! The location was perfect for our planned events.
We had a wonderful 4-night stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and always happy to help. The location was convenient, making it easy to explore the area. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable experience, and we would happily stay here again. Highly recommended!
Monique dealt with us on the front desk when we arrived and throughout our stay and we couldn’t have been happier.
