Fabulous location and staff made it perfect for my mum’s 80th birthday celebration.
Pros:

Wonderful, friendly staff. Great location and facilities. The food was excellent as was the service and very reasonably priced for a 5* hotel. Really good for gluten free food. Spa staff were very knowledgeable and professional. They made my mum’s 80th birthday very special.

The stay was very good but let down by travel links to Guernsey namely Auriny airline.

The restaurant could have had some more plain dishes on the menu. It was rather expensive.
We only used it once for dinner and there was a lot of choice of venues in St. Peter Port.

State of the art luxury
Pros:

The property has high end furnishings and touches, and is very well maintained.

Would choose a suite next time as room small and bathroom so tiny only one person could fit in it and that one person had to walk in a certain way to close the door

Step back in time, a traditional hotel experience
Pros:

Full buffet breakfast with more to order. Food excellent throughout - also the option of a curry in the Governors Room
Location was perfect - the main streets of St Peter's Port were just below but very quiet where we were.
Wonderfully embracing service - Red Carnation have a hotel in South Africa and many of the staff were from there. Always friendly and interested in our day

The place to be quand on visite Guernesey
Pros:

Le petit déjeuner somptueux avec des produits variés et frais et un personnel très attentif. L’emplacement extrêmement pratique de l’hôtel . Un plus indéniable : le cadre de la piscine , par ailleurs chauffée

Cons:

L’espace hammam/sauna/jacuzzi un peu en retrait, avec des horaires peu pratiques surtout quand on visite l’Ile la journée et pour la période où nous y étions le hammam en maintenance sur les 3 jours et l’accès Jaccuzzi impossible le lundi .
