Beautiful stay, lovely and relaxing, and felt indulgent with furnishings, comfy bed, and beautiful.
Pros:

Absolutely loved the bed - so comfortable! The tea set was beautiful - loved that too! Staff - the man on the front desk was particularly amazing. Location was great. Impressed the staff remembered who we were when we picked up our bags later that day.

Cons:

A free bottle of water in the room would have been great, but not a big deal. More tea bags in the room would have been great too - but that's because I love tea haha!

Pros:

Great location. Only a few hundred metres to Auckland Harbour.

Cons:

Breakfast was confusing. One the first I ordered off the menu. The following 2 days it was buffet style. The buffet was excellent and there was an egg station. Just didn't understand why there were two different breakfast offerings on different days.

Always love staying here.
Pros:

Love the location, on Queen street right above Louis Vuitton shop, very central for shopping and only a block away from the ferry terminal. I love the ambience of the hotel, it’s beautifully decorated in a 1920’s style to suit the building. The rooms belie the small lobby. We ate in Cookes restaurant and the food and wine were excellent. bathroom is gorgeous and lovely,fluffy towels. Love having a Coffee machine in the room.

Excellent location and room

Pros:

Very convenient location, beautiful decor, good breakfast. I would return.

Cons:

Room design was a bit cramped and we had only one lounge chair. A bit noisy on Friday night but it is in the city centre.
