The stay succeeded my expectations but could have been more welcoming.
Pros:

The property had a clean environment and spacious room with a wonderful style to it. The pool had a relaxing tone and the staff was generous.

Cons:

Maybe having the bars open earlier and have a better outside. The front patio to the entrance of the hotel was dull and did not have a warming entrance.

Good as it gets
Pros:

We liked the space of the room, was nice to have good space for bags etc, we also really enjoyed the roof top pool, mainly on the days the weather was 105, and bonus was the roof top bar

Cons:

Not much only have one comment and that was the option for parking, they only gave us an option for valet parking however we found out we could pay half the price to just park our self, which we would have preferred as it took ages for valet to get our car and we would have had to pay 55usd a night

The best place to stay in downtown LA 😄
Pros:

everything!! The pool was amazing and the staff were nice and friendly. Also it is close to the metro so it is easy to get around LA.

Cons:

Pool was closed one day and the next day was some photo shooting and I couldn't use the pool.
Using the pool was the main reasong for booking this hotel 😔

Poor maintained hotel
Pros:

Room was nice. Pool was nice when you eventually find it.

Cons:

Good room but multiple floors a building site. Elevator to the pool/roof stated it was a service elevator but was the only way to get up. Waited 30 minutes for it and gave up. Ended up using the stairs that state “once doors close, you can’t return”. Walked up to the roof and 4 floors were a building site, the stairs were covered in cement dust, there were roles of old building materials, asbestos bound mastic on the floor.

Rooftop bar was ridiculously overpriced. A can of michelob ultra cost $12.

Surrounding area had an abundance of volatile homeless drug users that ran at both me and my partner
