Cleanliness
7
Mixed reports: some guests note unpleasant smells in corridors, carpet issues and at least one report of an unclean WC; others mention good housekeeping but overall cleanliness is a noted weakness.
Service
9.5
Generally praised: multiple guests highlight very friendly, helpful and multilingual front-desk staff (Portuguese, Japanese, etc.); a few isolated reports of less friendly staff do not outweigh the positive experiences.
Location
9.5
Consistently excellent: repeatedly described as right next to the Palace of Versailles with many nearby restaurants — one of the strongest positives.
Room Quality
8
Mostly positive: rooms are frequently described as large with comfortable beds; some guests note that parts of the rooms/bathrooms feel dated or show wear, and occasional AC/odor issues were reported.
Amenities
7.5
Mixed: positives include parking, ironing facilities and good toiletries; negatives include unreliable air conditioning, elevator outages, and poor Wi‑Fi/TV in some rooms.
Value for Money
8
Slightly mixed: many guests feel the location and comfort justify the price, but several mention the price is a bit high given some wear and service/amenity shortcomings.
Food and Beverage
9
Overall strong but uneven: a number of guests rave about an exceptional, well-stocked breakfast, while others found it mediocre or repetitive; overall tends toward very good due to several standout reports.
Overall Experience
9.5
Generally very positive: many describe a lovely stay, easy access to Versailles, comfortable beds and friendly staff; several guests say they'd return despite some minor issues.
