Only reason I gave a 4 is the birds outside bothering some folks. My husband & I both really enjoyed the Superfood bowl with grilled chicken. I also liked the 4 Presidents IPA draft. It was a nice day on the patio & the background music was good & not loud (ie: Fleetwood Mac etc.). Service was good.
Incredible location, great amenities, friendly and courteous staff, and an experience that almost feels like going back in time!
Unfortunately, because it is a very old building, if you have loud, inconsiderate next-door neighbors it can be difficult to enjoy quiet time.
This hotel is “top shelf” and everyone is so accommodating and nice. I would definitely recommend staying here.
Friendly staff
Great location
Good food choices and entertainment
Didn’t have a gym in the property
No slippers in room
Everything from when you walk in the door! The staff ! The restaurants! Our room! Just love it there! Sitting outdoors in rocking chairs having a cocktail 🍸 😎
Nothing
The Beach Shack is the perfect spot to enjoy the gorgeous ocean front, a cool vibe in the beach bar area with spacious, clean rooms with a great surf motif! Nice little kitchenette and separate seating area was really nice & teh upscale vice of the motel was lovely. Live music daily with excellent artists was above & beyond!
Special shout to pool staff. They were at top of their game.
Very disappointed in room due to lack of any kind of view, and lack of a comfortable chair in room.
Loved the history and beautiful property. The pool was great and all staff were friendly. The Spa was amazing.
The plumbing in the room we had was very slow and there was no water pressure
Clean and accommodating, I could ask him anything and they would take care of it
The servers in both the blue pig and the boiler room took forever to wait on us were very rude and we're not the best. When we asked for something we had to actually get up and get it ourselves.
Congress Hall is the queen of all the hotels in Cape May
I enjoy staying in a historical location with modern amenities. Also enjoy the restaurants on site.
I wish my room had a bench by the bed rather than just a single metal chair. also the bathroom could use some hooks to hang towels and a robe.
Great location. Very good in all respects, except the price is waaaaaayyyyy high. I checked prices for the high season: over $1000 is very excessive!
As always Congres Hall does not disappoint. We had another lovely stay in a lovely room overlooking the tulips on the town side. The only sound we heard were birds chirping. Our room was spotless and well appointed with lots of towels and bath products, robes and even an umbrella. There was plenty of storage space and the convenience of a small hidden fridge. The staff is always courteous and friendly. We had driven a long 10 hours to visit our beloved Cape May and stay at the wonderful and historic Congress Hall. Many thanks to all.
Breakfast was okay!! Location was perfect and outside seating was good with the heating lamps !
The fact that they saw I had a bag and stroller and my room was down and up stairs not easy access for a toddler and stroller wish they had me near an elevator!
