Room was amazing! Clean and fresh
Pool area wasn't that clean
Its principal attraction is its location.
The bedroom was clean and comfortable.
The immediate surroundings ( I appreciate on can do little about this - indeed the hotel is located to serve the needs of the offices on the soulless business park ).

Very expensive drinks had to pay for car parking even though in the middle of nowhere. And had to pay to use the pool £15 per adult thought it was in with the facilities when l paid for room..

Receptionist implied we were with a coach party the coach part was older people we are in our 50s!!
Bedroom showers run hot and cold sink filled up but took ages to empty rusty plug reported it shrugged her shoulders said maintenance would have to come in despite the fact I was working all day never offered to change room I had to write and demand they documented the complaint under h &S as hot water was boiling in shower I was worried we would scold
The senior receptionist changed room next day and came with a free drink really I had spent best part of 700 over last week in the hotel receptionist is rude arrogant and clever attitude
I reached late due to traffic, i was over the dinner cutoff time by 2 mins and was denied a table. They told me all I could order now was a room service pizza. I told them i was literally delayed by 2 mins and i spent around 10 mins at reception waiting for someone to turn up and check me in.
Modern, comfortable, large hotel
Premium price for essentially a clean room. Pool, car parking, breakfast, anything else is extra cost. This is a business conference hotel rather than leisure hotel.

The fact that after booking I tried to reserve evening meal and spa but received a msg saying to sort at reception, at reception at check in the restaurant was fully booked and had to leave site for a meal. Also someone else’s rubbish in my bin in room not sure what else was missed but was late so went to bed. Complained next morning to nothing they can do
Stayed many times over 20 years . Staff warm and welcoming nothing too much trouble , great food too !
Charging extra to use the spa , this was included few years ago . Car park charges too unless spend £25 or more in bar , again never used to do this
