Roooms are great, there is a refurbishment going on in the resturant, but thye have worked a great plan to cover food.

A beautiful hotel with fabulous facilities and super doggie-friendly too. I had stayed here a few times during the Covid pandemic when it was quite a different experience (I was the only guest!). Now it's vibrant, lively and friendly, offering first class food, drinks and services. We reserved a dog-friendly room and arrived to find a doggie welcome pack waiting for us as well as a doggie bed and bowls for food/drink. Mostly though, we felt really welcome with the little dog (this hotel is genuinely dog-friendly, not just offering lip service to being dog-friendly). I swam in the beautiful pool, lay outside in the sunshine gardens. Breakfasts are delicious with poached eggs provided on request. We also had lunch and that was perfectly delicious too. Highly recommended, with or without a dog 🐕 Thank you Thorpe Park for a lovely two night stay this week.

Quality and condition of rooms

The website still advises robes and slippers are included in the relax and dine package, however they are not and now come at a £15 surcharge per person. I was also served mouldy bread at the restaurant. This was resolved with a 25% discount on the bill but still leaves a bitter aspect considering the price for this package has increased, the perks included have decreased and there seems to be no apparent increase in the quality of the service offered. I love this hotel and spa but this stay was not my favourite

Everthing it was clean staff was great the service was great i slept very well breakfast was lovley plenty to choose feom the spa was incredable very clean will deffo be coming back 🙂🙂🙂

We recently celebrated our daughter’s 18th birthday at Thorpe Park Hotel & Spa Leeds, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish.

From our very first visit, Shaun made us feel so welcome. He showed us around the venue, answered all of our questions, and was friendly, professional, and reassuring throughout. His warm approach gave us confidence that we had chosen the perfect venue for such a special occasion.

A huge thank you to Ruby, the Events Manager, who was incredibly accommodating throughout the planning process. She went above and beyond to ensure every detail of our celebration was exactly as we envisioned. She was always responsive, organised, and nothing was ever too much trouble.

On the day of the event, Dan, Clive, and the entire team were outstanding. Their attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine care ensured everything ran seamlessly. They looked after our family and guests exceptionally well, making my daughter’s 18th birthday truly special and allowing us to relax and enjoy every moment.

We also booked an overnight stay, which completed the perfect celebration. The reception staff were warm, welcoming, and very pleasant from check-in to check-out. Our room was comfortable, clean, and beautifully presented. The following morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast with plenty of choice before making the most of the hotel’s excellent facilities, including the swimming pool and sauna.

What impressed us most was the consistency of the service. Every member of staff we encountered, whether in events, reception, the restaurant, housekeeping, or the spa, was friendly, attentive, and professional. It is clear that the hotel has excellent leadership, high standards of training, and a genuine commitment to outstanding customer service.

Our guests also commented on how beautiful the venue was, how delicious the food was, and how attentive the staff were throughout the evening.

Thank you to Ruby, Shaun, Dan, Clive, and every member of the team for making our daughter’s milestone birthday such a wonderful and memorable occasion. We cannot recommend Thorpe Park Hotel & Spa Leeds highly enough and look forward to returning in the future.
