Location and quality of hotel!
This was our second stay at The Artist; we returned for its excellent service and facilities. The saloon on the rooftop is one of the nicest breakfast settings we have experienced; airy, great views, good food and efficient service. The concierge and porter staff went out of their way to help us with our luggage logistics related to our Camino Norte walk. We will definitely return to this hotel when we come back to beautiful Bilbao!
It took us a while to find out how the air conditioning worked, and the cleaning staff seemed to default to opening windows, which apparently disables the air conditioning.

The room was spacious and comfortable. Delicious breakfast with incredible view of Guggenheim museum, river and city! Public areas are stylish with interesting art.

The Artist Hotel in Bilbao was, without exaggeration, one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. I would give it a 10 out of 10 in every category.
The location is magnificent, directly opposite the Guggenheim Museum, making it ideal for anyone wishing to experience one of Bilbao’s most iconic cultural landmarks. The room was spacious, elegant, and fully in keeping with the hotel’s five-star rating. Its contemporary design was refined and tasteful, with subtle details that beautifully underlined the modern character of the hotel.
The staff were consistently polite, professional, and exceptionally responsive, attending to every request with genuine alacrity. Breakfast was very good: not ostentatious, but carefully prepared and varied enough to satisfy even a demanding guest.
We also dined twice at the hotel’s Bistro, and the food was exceptional on both occasions.
There is truly nothing I would change. I would strongly recommend The Artist Hotel to couples seeking a tranquil, refined, and easygoing experience in Bilbao.
Everything here was exceptional. The room was very clean and comfortable, the food and drinks were excellent. Seriously when I come to Bilbao again soon I would not stay anywhere else, believe me, totally worth it

It’s all about the location opposite the Guggenheim. Clean and comfortable otherwise. Staff was helpful and welcoming.

Everyone treated us so well, like luxury guests, and made sure that they helped us with any sort of needs. And the place was perfectly clean.
I can’t think of a single thing. Even the carpeting was clean in my room where I felt like I could walk around. The shower was incredible. The toiletries were nice. The linens were luxurious. The pillows were of two separate types for both back sleepers and side sleepers. There was always freshwater. There was space in the refrigerator for a few things that I had of mine as well as what was available for purchase. And there are multiple glasses. If I were to pick one thing that wasn’t in the hotel, it would be a trinket tray for me to put my jewelry at my bedside, but I always bring one with me.
