Hotel Ocean Pearl Frankfurt Central Station

The area around the hotel is full of homeless people and drug addicts. The staff member at check-in was very unfriendly and could not find my booking for ages when I arrived. This obviously made me very stressed. He eventually found it and then took ages to check me in. The building is very run down and grubby. The room itself was clean, but extremely basic. There is a lot of noise outside with a tramline running in front of the building. I was concerned for my safety and did not sleep well. There is no air con.

It took 30 minutes to make a check in because they couldn't find the reservation. It said in the booking that the room has separate beds but basically you couldn't move them apart a lot. The air conditioner made it impossible to sleep for one night, since it made a terrible noise. Breakfast was decent and on the other building. My colleagues were traveling for a really important exhibition and they were not pleased with all the trouble.

Das Zimmer war bei Anreise nicht geeinigt, der Fernseher ging nicht, der vorhandene Ventilator war verdreckt, die Bettwäsche verdreckt. Das Frühstück sollte in einem benachbarten Hotel sein was in der Beschreibung nicht erwähnt wurde. Das Personal konnte bei der Beschwerde auf einmal kein Deutsch mehr. Wir sind nach der Beschwerde wieder ausgezogen und haben das Zimmer nicht in Anspruch genommen. Das Geld haben wir natürlich auch nicht zurück erhalten.

Bed was against the wall making it very difficult for person sleeping that side to get out without disturbing the other person

The breakfast was in a different hotel about 100 yards away on other side of the road & other side of the cross road, this was not mentioned when checking in & only became apparent when enquiring with reception also reception then had to write out a ticket to give to the other hotel.

La habitación que se me asignó no se encontraba en condiciones mínimas para ser ocupada. Al ingresar, el sistema de descarga del WC estaba desmontado, con el registro abierto y varias de sus piezas retiradas y depositadas sobre el propio inodoro, por lo que el WC no podía utilizarse. Se trataba de un defecto evidente que ya existía al momento de entregarme la habitación.

Además, la habitación se encontraba en un segundo piso y daba directamente a Moselstraße, con un nivel considerable de ruido procedente de la calle, restaurantes, vehículos y actividad nocturna. El problema se veía agravado porque la ventana estaba defectuosa y no cerraba correctamente, de modo que no proporcionaba un aislamiento mínimo frente al ruido exterior y hacía extremadamente difícil descansar.

La limpieza de la habitación tampoco era satisfactoria, con acumulaciones visibles de polvo en distintos sectores.

Ante la combinación de un WC que no estaba operativo en condiciones normales, una ventana defectuosa y un nivel de limpieza insuficiente, decidí no permanecer en la habitación y tuve que trasladarme a otro hotel.

El personal de recepción fue amable, pero me informó que no podía cancelar el cargo ni autorizar un reembolso debido a instrucciones de la administración. Considero especialmente insatisfactorio que, pese a haberse entregado una habitación con defectos objetivos que impedían utilizarla y descansar adecuadamente, el establecimiento no ofreciera una solución económica.

No recomiendo este hotel. La habitación que me fue entregada no cumplía condiciones básicas de funcionamiento, limpieza y descanso, y la respuesta de la administración ante el problema fue insuficiente.

Zimmer hat extrem nach Rauch gerochen die ganze Nacht hat es laut an der zimmertür geklopft. Nachts beim schlafen ist sogar jemand reingekommen bzw hat die Tür aufgemacht

L'hotel ha bisogno di una rimodernata; lo abbiamo trovato anche piuttosto buio. La nostra camera era sporca con residui di cibo in terra e formiche per la stanza; inoltre il piatto doccia era rotto. La colazione non è in una sala all'interno dell'hotel ma abbiamo dovuto attraversare la strada e qualche metro più avanti c'era un altro hotel che offriva la colazione: questa cosa però non viene mai menzionata se non appena richiesto al receptionist. Inoltre la zona è altamente pericolosa la notte; basta girare l'angolo che ci si ritrova nel degrado.

Дуже брудний номер , немає засобів для гігієни та одноразового взуття. Підлога в жахливому стані меблі також , багато пилі , по стіні текла вода. Не приємний запах в номері. Дуже шумно , так як готель знаходиться на вулиці нічного життя .
