Was very hot, fan in room.. changed room for an assisted shower room. It was perfect

Rooms don’t have air conditioning so we’re very hot due to the heatwave and on south side of the building. At least hotel had provided fans which did help a bit.
Hotel is a bit tired in places; stair carpets worn and bed headboard was torn and repaired with duct tape.
Welcoming arrival, pleasant reception area, booked in quickly. Stayed two nights in a cool comfortable room. Mini fridge, iron, hairdryer, large screen TV. Good value for money.

The building looks amazing from outside and the interior decor is amazing aswel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Got free upgrade to executive room.
The bathrooms were quite outdated and bathroom door did have a lock in it so could see the inside of the bathroom.
It was well situated for the event we were attending! Hotel was excellent, staff all very helpful, room was excellent, very clean, good aircon, bed very comfortable, good sized bathroom and nice towels! Breakfast with an excellent selection, allergies were checked.
