Taj Fateh Prakash Palace Udaipur

A beautiful, well maintained property! Special thanks to Mr. Bhuvan from housekeeping and Rahul in the dining room for their hospitality—they took good care of us throughout our stay.
A minor point to note was that the AC temperature controls were not functioning properly in both rooms; while it didn’t cause major discomfort, it is worth looking into. Also, adding an activity room with a few indoor games would make the guest experience even better.

Since we were there for our babymoon, the staff beautifully decorated our room, which was such a sweet surprise. Kishan Ji and Nikita, who arranged everything, went above and beyond and even brought us a lovely greeting card and a small gift as a token of love. Really appreciate the efforts.

We also loved enjoying the evening by the lake, along with the amazing food and impeccable service throughout our stay.

It was truly worth every moment, and the breathtaking views are something we’ll carry with us forever. ♥️

The location of the hotel, being part of the palace, directly located at the lake, is fantastic!! The indian breakfast selection was very good!

A really great experience.. beautiful rooms, fantastic service professionals - front desk, housekeeping and special points of contact.. we felt so well take care of! The location is gorgeous as well, not to mention super conveniently placed within the city palace complex and a very short hop to great market places for shopping. A must visit experience overall! On this current trip I stayed at the Taj Palace in Mumbai…Taj Fateh Prakash is better.

This isn’t a hotel…it is a palace. The artwork within the hotel is priceless. The history is epic. The staff are family.

I have no words to fully describe our stay only to say we should have stayed longer.

My wife and I are planning to visit India again soon and we recommend spending at least 4-5 days in Udaipur to really experience the people, culture, cuisine, hospitality and friendship the Taj Fateh Prakash delivers.

Our family trip to Taj Fateh Prakash Palace, Udaipur was truly a memorable experience. Staying in a heritage palace overlooking the beautiful Lake Pichola gave us a wonderful opportunity to experience the grandeur and charm of Rajasthan.

The food was excellent, and every meal added to the overall experience. A special mention to Bhanvar Ji, who takes care of housekeeping, and Lalit Ji, his manager, for their warm hospitality, prompt support, and attention to detail throughout our stay.

The feeling of actually staying in a palace, surrounded by history, heritage, and timeless architecture, was a completely different experience altogether. We thoroughly enjoyed our family stay and would be happy to return.
