Meliá Koh Samui

Ein wunderbar geführtes Hotel in traumhafter Lage direkt am Meer. Bereits bei der Ankunft wurden wir herzlich empfangen und haben sogar ein Upgrade für unser Zimmer erhalten, worüber wir uns sehr gefreut haben. Unser Zimmer war sehr sauber, hat angenehm gerochen und die Klimaanlage funktionierte tadellos. Auch die Betten waren sehr bequem und wir haben hervorragend geschlafen. Alle Mitarbeiter sind durchweg freundlich und sehr höflich.

Die gesamte Anlage ist wunderschön gepflegt – besonders der Garten ist traumhaft und alles wirkt sehr sauber. Das Wasser ist herrlich erfrischend und trotz Familien mit Kindern findet man jederzeit ruhige Plätze zum Entspannen und Zurückziehen.

Auch das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet: abwechslungsreich, verschiedene Brotsorten, sowie Salate, frisches Obst und diverse frische Säften - auf Wunsch kann man sich jederzeit weitere Säfte frisch zubereiten lassen. Die Lobby ist sehr einladend und man fühlt sich rundum sicher und wohl.

Die ruhige Bucht, die entspannte Umgebung sowie Restaurants und Bars in der Nähe machen den Aufenthalt perfekt.

Wir fühlen uns hier so wohl, dass wir unseren Aufenthalt sogar verlängert haben.
Ein wunderschöner Ort für Familien und Paare – wir können dieses Hotel absolut empfehlen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Amazing location if you are looking for a quiet relaxing vacation but still lots of options around to eat out, massage, convenience stores, bars. Choeng Mon is a quiet and relaxing part of the island. The hotel facilities and the rooms are kept extremely clean and the staff is very kind and attentive to the guests. The breakfast has great variety and good quality food for all kinds of diet needs. Service at the restaurant and the beach was exceptional as well. As a solo traveler, I also appreciated the staff coming over and having a chat everyday.

It is right on the beach and the gardens and pool were fabulous

We have just returned back from the Melia with our children aged 6 & 9. This is our 3rd time staying here. I have nothing but good to say about this hotel.

This hotel is in a lovely setting. It’s very clean. ALL of the staff are amazing. They all work so hard. I can’t recommend it enough. As we have been before we have got to know a lot of the staff and it’s so lovely to have such a lovely welcome back.

Our children love the kids club. Ribbon, DaDa, GiGi & Mui are so lovely, kind, caring. It so nice to have a great kids club. They do so much with the children. We are very grateful knowing that our children are very well looked after & kept safe. Thank you ladies.

The pools are great too. We have never had problems getting subbeds.
The staff around the pool are fantastic. Baw & Krit are great. They always go an extra mile to help. The service they give you is brilliant. Thank you guys for all your hard work and making us feel so welcome.

The food is also great too. No problem at all.

I would just like to say that all the staff are wonderful and so helpful. Always smiling and give you 5 star treatment. We will be back again. Thank you to the melia staff for giving us a wonderful holiday again.

I just wanted to share how absolutely incredible my stay was at your hotel. I truly loved every moment of it. The hotel itself was amazing, but what really made the experience unforgettable was the level of service and kindness from your team.

They kindly offered us compensation due to the inconvenience caused by the temporary closure of the swimming pool, and the way everything was handled exceeded our expectations. The team immediately accommodated us and made sure we felt comfortable and well taken care of without any delay or hassle.

A very special thank you goes to Siri ❤️🥰, the manager, as well as the receptionist K and Miu 🥰who assisted us during our stay. They were both absolutely wonderful so kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. Their friendliness and willingness to help made such a difference and really elevated our entire experience.

We are used to staying in high-end hotels, but this was honestly one of the best hotel experiences we have ever had. The level of hospitality, warmth, and professionalism was exceptional from start to finish.

This resort was out of this world. The food, the location and the staff, especially Bow the pool waiter he went above and beyond to make sure everyday was bliss. Thank you and can’t wait to come back again

Excellent location that has plenty of places to eat on your doorstep (walk out of the hotel and turn left).

The employees in the hotel, especially “K” always had a smiled, looked for ways to help and nothing was ever hardwork, a very different story to UK hotels.

I’d recommend this hotel to friends and family for sure.

For our honeymoon, we booked The Level Grand Suite for 8 nights. Two days before arrival, we were informed that the main pool would be undergoing unforeseen maintenance. This was disappointing as it was one of our main reasons for booking this hotel. However, after a couple of emails, we were offered a room change to one of the Boat Suites with pool access (since the loop/river pool was still open).

From the moment we checked in, the staff was extremely welcoming and super friendly. Especially Kim, Tamarind, Zena, Nat, K, Rainy, Rainbow, Siri and Pink (just to name a few, though the entire team is superb). Also, as a celiac, they took extra good care of me during breakfast and at The Level Lounge, ensuring everything was safe and gluten-free.

Thank you to the amazing team for looking after us so well on our honeymoon!

We absolutely loved our stay at Melia Koh Samui and honestly wish we had stayed longer than 9 nights!

We travelled with our 2.5 year old son and the resort was perfect for families. The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained, with amazing pools, water slides, a fantastic toddler splash pool and a great kids club. There were so many activities for both adults and children, but also plenty of relaxing areas to unwind.

The restaurants at the resort were excellent and we loved the location on Choeng Mon Beach. There are lots of restaurants, bars and massage places right outside the hotel, and it was easy to get transport to other areas of Koh Samui.

What really made the stay special though was the staff. Every single staff member was warm, friendly and incredible with our son, which made such a difference travelling with a toddler.

We would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend Melia Koh Samui for families, couples or anyone wanting a relaxing but fun stay in Koh Samui.

We had a wonderful stay at Meliá Koh Samui. The hotel is very beautiful with a great design and relaxing atmosphere. Our room was very clean, and all the facilities were amazing and well maintained.

The breakfast was also very good with many choices available every morning. The only disappointing thing during our stay was that the main pool was closed for maintenance. There was another pool available, but it was not as comfortable for us to use.

Overall, we still had a perfect experience and really enjoyed our stay. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others visiting Koh Samui.

My husband and I had an amazing honeymoon at the Melia Hotel in Koh Samui. The hotel staff were so friendly and nothing was ever too much trouble. A special call out to Baw, and his Team. The conversation and cocktails flowed and we felt so welcome and looked after.
