Dhanush went way beyond expectations with a great attitude and smile the entire meal. So accommodating and helpful.
Absolutely the worst hotel to go to. Pool always under maintenance, floors not vacuumed, conditioner need replaced, no room service , they were under staffed. Told could shuttle to the other pool, shuttles full had to walk. When asked to speak with manager, manager just left. When asked for the owners number, supposedly this hotel is not owned. Definitely not the standard Hilton experience!!!!
The bartender and restaurant servicer Dhanush was very attentive and have excellent service.
Proximity to Starbucks for early access to coffee was good, as we had to leave at 5:30 am (before breakfast available).
The room was extremely exensive for what it was and the floor cleanliness in the room was not as expected. The room was very basic and lacked standard amenities. The shuttle was not at all efficient. I was told to call once I received our luggage, which I did and gave our names (there were two of us). When the shuttle came 15 min later, it did not ask names and and a group of 15 jumped in front of us, using their size as an excuse. I suggested to the manager that they check off names when picking up guests from airport. We had to wait for another shuttle to take us to the hotel. For the price, this should not occur.
La camera spaziosa pulizia buona
Personale gentile
Equipe atenciosa. Prático. Limpo.
Restaurante the bear maravilhoso próximo.

The room was clean, the amenities were nice and new, the establishment is clean and tidy and the staff are very kind and helpful :)
Many thankyous to the breakfast staff Dhanouish and Radit, I was very foggy and you brought me life-giving coffee and OJ! ToT
Very kind thankyous to Faafou for helping me with bags and shuttle logistics :) your kindness and help mean the whole world 💜
The accommodations and staff were great! Henry and Dhanush went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and make our stay memorable. Definitely recommend
Close to city center
Not a thing
Location is great, rooms are average, and service is pretty bad. Particularly, the restaurant supervisor.
My husband and I returned to the hotel after dinner and found that they were still servicing our room. No big deal, so we sat at the large table in the lobby to wait. There was a woman already sitting there, FaceTiming her grandchild.
The inappropriate music in the lobby was BLARING. I say that it was inappropriate because it was R&B and rap, obviously from someone's personal playlist and not elevator music, Oldies, classical, or even Top 40 that you hear everywhere else. It felt like we were in a downtown club.
I made a comment about the noise level to my husband, and he agreed it was very loud. The woman who was talking to her grandchild turned, looked at me, and then pointed to the ceiling speaker where the music was blasting from and motioned with her ears that she couldn't hear.
I went to the front desk to ask if they could turn down the music. As I was speaking to the sweet girl, this gentleman came from the back office and walked over to us. I knew instantly this was going to be an issue. He informed me with an attitude that they always have it that loud during dinner to drown out people's conversations, so that people in the lobby and restaurant can't eavesdrop on anyone else. Um, what? That made absolute no sense. I told him that having the music that loud drowns out ALL conversations, even with the person you're speaking to at your own table, which is why people have to raise their voice to talk to each other. Having the music that loud actually does the opposite. If what he said made any sense, then I question what kind of establishment this is that patrons are in need of such private conversations that they can't order their food or check into their hotel room using a normal inside voice and not having to speak over the music.
He said that he had the general manager's permission to have the music that loud, asked for my room number, and said he could have her speak to me in the morning. It was obvious that he was offended that I didn't take his illogical reasoning and wanted to cause a bigger issue than needed. We both knew why the music was the loud: he wanted it that loud. He wanted to listen to it while he waited on his five tables for the night. I told him that my room number had no effect on the fact that the music was inappropriately loud in the open area. He cut me off and demanded my room number. I just shook my head and walked back to the table where my husband and the other hotel guest were. The woman thanked me for trying and walked outside to continue her conversation with her grandchild, and my husband and I went back up to our room.
The hotel location is great. Rooms are good size and comfortable.
My spouse and I are retired and have been traveling full‑time since September 2024. Because we live on the road and stay in hotels year‑round, we rely heavily on consistent service and elite recognition. As long‑time Hilton Honors Diamond members, we’ve experienced excellent treatment at many Hilton properties across the country — which made this stay especially disappointing.
From the moment we arrived, the answer to every request was simply “no.”
• Asked for an upgrade at check‑in → immediate no.
• Asked the day before checkout for a 12:00 checkout → no, and told to “ask tomorrow.”
• The morning of checkout, our room phone didn’t work, so we went downstairs in person → still no, with 11:30 being the absolute latest.
This is not the level of hospitality Hilton typically provides to its most loyal members. We stay in hotels constantly, and the contrast was noticeable. Marriott consistently treats us far better with our elite status, and the difference in recognition and flexibility is significant.
Based on our experience, we cannot recommend this Hilton Garden Inn. If you’re visiting Anchorage, choose another Hilton property — or if you hold status with both Hilton and Marriott, Marriott will likely give you a much better experience.
It was a great and comfortable stay, we spent 6 nights and no complaints. They also did housekeeping every alternate day without reminders. Breakfast menu was also good, Dhanush took a good care of us every morning during breakfast with a smile and excellent service. Thanks
