Hilton Garden Inn Anchorage

Clean and comfortable rooms, convenient location, lovely staff and excellent breakfast. Not far from a little park where l ran, saw a lot of geese and an Alaskan hare. Close to a good supermarket (Fred Meyer), REI and Alaska Outdoor Rentals (outfitters where we picked up gear for an 8 night camping and hiking trip).

We began our Alaska trip with an overnight stay in Anchorage at a hotel near the airport. After collecting our luggage, we called for the shuttle and were directed to wait outside the terminal across from Gate 6. The shuttle arrived within about 15 minutes, and the driver was friendly and helpful with our bags. The service covers several airport-area properties.

Our fourth-floor room was clean, comfortable, and ready upon arrival. While the accommodations were pleasant, there was no laptop safe, and the desk chair was not adjustable.

We also dined at the hotel’s restaurant and bar, which opened at 5:30 p.m. The meal was convenient and easy to charge to our room, though there was some confusion regarding an 18% service charge listed on the bill for a “large party.” That would be worth confirming with management.

The following morning, we used the shuttle again for our return to the airport. With multiple vans in operation, transportation was efficient and well organized.

Overall, this is a solid choice for travelers seeking a clean, convenient airport hotel with friendly service in Anchorage.

Everything was clean. The beds were very comfortable. Staff was great especially Faafou. She gave a great recommendation for dinner downtown. She was a pleasure to talk with. Overall, great experience!

I’m a disabled veteran with several medical conditions. When I complained about the ac not working and they were not able to repair it I asked for another room. They were full so I asked for another Hilton. They said the other hotels were full. I found a Hilton online but Emily and Henry (Hilton staff) said it was not their sister hotel so it would cost me $1100 for 1 night to go there. They called the GM Vineeta Barua She refused to assist or talk to me. This was at 10:30 pm. I was told to see the GM at 8 am. At 2:30 am the GM Vineeta Burua knocked on my door wearing her pajamas along with the police and told me and my wife we had to leave. So if you have a complaint at this hotel, never did I raised my voice or used profanity towards the staff, beware. The staff uses the police as there complaint department.

We had wonderful stay at Hilton Anchorage. All staffs were nice and friendly, and special mention about Dhanush, he made us feel like home.

Dhanush went way beyond expectations with a great attitude and smile the entire meal. So accommodating and helpful.

Absolutely the worst hotel to go to. Pool always under maintenance, floors not vacuumed, conditioner need replaced, no room service , they were under staffed. Told could shuttle to the other pool, shuttles full had to walk. When asked to speak with manager, manager just left. When asked for the owners number, supposedly this hotel is not owned. Definitely not the standard Hilton experience!!!!

The bartender and restaurant servicer Dhanush was very attentive and have excellent service.

Proximity to Starbucks for early access to coffee was good, as we had to leave at 5:30 am (before breakfast available).
