The breakfast is huge
Big Hotel which makes the atmosphere a little flat . On arriving it was difficult to find as so many roads have been closed or for buses only . The carpark although big was difficult to realise it was part of the hotel and lead to my driving into a road only for buses. Clear signs should be put at front of carpark telling customers it is for hotel use and not just a general carpark.
Front desk staff hidden in office behind desk so on arrival it felt no one was there , carpark is not free and needs paying so description also misleading . £50 DEPOSIT taken on arrival and still not put back into my account 48hrs later !
NO airconditioning in rooms and incredibley hot with no ability to open windows and keep them open which really needs looking at because if you have no aircon you need to open window

Great location and attentive staff
The rooms are slightly dated.
Mattress was broken, they had no replacements or any other rooms. No alternative other than a mattress topper which wouldn’t fix the issue as the mattress would sink to to the bottom with no pressure

Moth eaten carpets. Stained bath. TV at poor angle and not adjustable, noise from wedding party vibrating the floor.

Called earlier to request flowers in the room as a surprise for my new wife. They were really nice.
The receptionist informed us that the flowers had been done upon our arrival. Spoiling the surprise. Not great.
