Pros:

De eerste indruk van het hotel is erg goed. Het is ruim opgezet, met veel marmer en kunst, en alles oogt bij binnenkomst netjes en verzorgd. Ook erg prettig dat we onze auto gewoon bij het hotel konden parkeren. Onze kamer had bovendien een enorm groot bed, wat zeker een pluspunt was.

Cons:

Juist door die goede eerste indruk vielen een paar dingen in de kamer extra op. In de badkamer wordt bijvoorbeeld gevraagd om uit milieuoverwegingen handdoeken opnieuw te gebruiken. Prima natuurlijk, maar vervolgens staan er bij de wastafel plastic bekertjes die ieder afzonderlijk in plastic zijn verpakt. Dat voelt nogal tegenstrijdig en vooral niet erg doordacht.

Daarnaast was de ophanging van het douchescherm duidelijk verroest en waren de houten plinten in de badkamer verouderd en op sommige plekken al aangetast. Dat zijn misschien details, maar bij een viersterrenhotel vind ik dat dit gewoon beter onderhouden hoort te zijn.

Ook de airconditioning viel tegen. Deze kon niet lager worden ingesteld dan 22 graden. Persoonlijk vind ik dat te warm, zeker wanneer je juist graag wat koeler slaapt.

Kortom, een hotel met een mooie, luxe uitstraling bij binnenkomst, goede parkeermogelijkheden en een heerlijk groot bed, maar in de kamer zijn er qua onderhoud, comfort en duurzaamheid toch een aantal punten die naar mijn mening niet helemaal passen bij wat je van vier sterren mag verwachte

Nettes Hotel außerhalb Luccas
Pros:

Das Rezeptionspersonal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Parkplätze sind ausreichend vorhanden.

Cons:

Das Hotel mag in Italien einem 4-Sterne-Anspruch genügen, entspricht aber eher einem guten 3-Sterne-Haus.
Die Flure sind mit stark abgenutztem Teppich ausgelegt. Die Zimmer sin nützlich, aber eher spartanisch eingerichtet. Z.B. der Fön ist ein recht altes Modell, mit einer Wärme- und Gebläsestufe. Selbst ein kleines Wasser, das in der Minibar stand, musste mit 1,50 Euro bezahlt werden. Und einige Kleinigkeiten mehr.

Pros:

Propreté impeccable, belle suite avec balcon. Calme. A causr probablement d'une erreur sur booking.com nuit à 35 Euros ! Malgré une remarque à ce sujet au check-in, la réservation a été honorée. Merci !
