The music in the Restaurant.. American Pop .. changed the whole ambience .. Britany Spears and Beyonce etc…would rather had italian music or even Dean Martin if it had to be American .. even though food was very good I would not eat there again because of music.. by the way same music for breakfast.

Excellent location, in the centre of Bologna. The hotel staff were very friendly, helpful and courteous, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was typical of Italy. Very clean room and comfortable bed. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much for making us feel so welcome. Xx

Great location with helpful staff
Pros:

The accomodation is centrally located. The staff is excellent, helping customers with their requests. We left behind post cards, and these arrived without any issue to their destinations.
The hotel even helped arrange a taxi to the airport.
The breakfast was delicious and a reccomendation
Deffinitly worth taking into consideration.

Cons:

It is a bit on the pricier side, but the service you get is compensation for a lot.

Wonderful, charming hotel in Bologna.
Pros:

The Phi Hotel Bologna is a charming small hotel in the perfect location at the center of historical Bologna just steps from the Piazza Maggiore. The rooms are uniquely decorated, the staff is friendly, extremely accommodating and they helped make our stay in Bologna perfect.

LOCATION EXCELLENT, STAFF PROFESSIONAL AND VERY HELPFUL, RESTAURANT WAS GOOD, INTERESTING VIBE WITH ARTISTS WORK THROUGHOUT THE HOTEL

Cons:

ROOM SMALL AND NO ROOM TO OPEN A LARGE SUITCASE. BATHROOM TINY AND NEEDED UPDATING. PAINT BLISTERING ON WALLS AND TILE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. NEEDED A LITTLE LARGER SPACE.

Good hotel in the old town
Pros:

Comfortable friendly hotel in the old town, a couple of minutes walk from the main square. Lovely bed, good breakfasts. They have a list of recommended restaurants and will book them for you (we particularly recommend Da Cesari). They will also arrange a pre booked taxi back to the airport. The train station is about a mile away but easily walkable through a nice colonnaded street.

Pros:

I didn't recognize that I booked an apartment. When I arrived at the hotel the gentleman at the reception informed us about it and took us to an apartment next to the hotel. The apartment is old but nice. It is comfortable and quite but the a/c works a little bit loud.

Our room had a lingering smell of waste. Staff was informed and nothing could be done. This was the only issue with this property.
