This hotel is stunning, the view to the Bund and Pear tower are just a dream. LOVE IT
Pros:

I loved everything at this hotel: the rooms were so big and clean, the concierge team were the best I ever met, they were helpful and quite friendly. Breakfast was bomb. It was a hit.

Pros:

Clean and hygiene property with a prime location very helpful staff , the concierge staff also guided us with vegetarian restaurants around in the area specially Jerry Wang was super helpful overall a great experience

Well located and up to standard Westin.
Pros:

The rooms were well appointed as one would expect of a Westin. The included breakfast buffet was generally very good, though getting scrambled eggs cooked to my liking was a challenge. The location is excellent: a level walk to the Old Town (with historic housing (now converted to commercial uses), the river, the under river crossing to get to sites on the other bank and major shopping streets. We've travelled widely but this was our first time in mainland China and to be perfectly frank, we found the offal heavy Shanghainese cuisine very challenging, But we found a very good Cantonese restaurant on Fuzhuo Road at the intersection with and Jiangxi Road (It's in one of the 3 Art Deco towers, opposite the Metropole Hotel. Lots of local families.

Cons:

The checking too quite a long time, and was somewhat chaotic. We had an early morning arrival and had booked the room for the pervious night so our room would be ready seemed to have caused confusion. Messages requesting assistance with booking an airport transfer were not responded too.
