Horrible Experience STAY AWAY
Pros:

Horrible experience. From the moment we walked in, the room smelled like sewage. The furniture was old, worn out, and the couch was dirty, smelled bad, and looked like it should have been replaced years ago.

The HVAC duct was extremely loud, and for some reason it was installed right next to the bed, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep.

The kitchen was in terrible condition. The appliances were old, dirty, and worn out. The stove burners only worked about half the time, the refrigerator was dirty, and the kitchen cabinets were loose and falling apart.

The towels were also old, thin, and beginning to rip.

The valet parking was another disappointment. It costs $50, but you are charged every time you leave and return, which quickly becomes very expensive if you plan on driving anywhere during your stay.

The only positive part of our stay was the staff they were friendly and courteous. Unfortunately, they couldn’t make up for the poor condition of the property.

I understand New Orleans has older buildings, but that’s no excuse for a hotel to be this dirty and poorly maintained. I would strongly recommend avoiding this property. Save yourself and your family the frustration and money by staying somewhere outside the city instead.

Good location, but the properly definitely needs an update

Cons:

The lobby had a very foul sewage smell, the pool was very murky. I did not feel comfortable putting my body in there. The chairs were very worn and dirty. A few guest said that their air-conditioning did not work.

My AC unit was too loud then I was transferred to another room where the AC didn’t work and I was in a room that was 78 degrees from 3 am to 3pm.. Euclares was a God send he fixed my AC . So from the changes in climate I became sick … I love the hotel but I feel that they should place the ceiling fans back , upgrade the television with smart ones and place safes in the room

Loud AC unit wouldn’t cool off the room.
Pros:

Location was great to main attractions. Property was clean.

Cons:

The air conditioning did not work. I reported it to the front desk but no one showed up to assess or fix AC. The room was hot. AC was on and loud but did not cool off the room.

The Homewood Suites was a great choice, especially considering the price, and I would stay again
