Clean but pricey for the hotel rooms not being up-to-date

Location and offering suites for a larger grouo

Cons:

Rooms were a little dated. Bathroom door didn’t close. Didn’t like the bathroom sink not being behind a close door and being visible from bedroom.

Pros:

probably the nicest place I've ever stayed. When we got there, I questioned the wife, thinking she spent too much when she told me how much we got it for I was completely amazed.

Cons:

parking. I don't like people park in my car or even being in it. but we parked across the road in the public garage. and carried our bags. i'm sure we probably could've parked in front unloaded the bags. I'm on my left. Pulled the car to the front and loaded, but it's not a lot of room.

The manager was very nice . Shes light skin with blonde curly hair.

Pros:

I can't say enough good accolades about the staff at Homewood Suites by Hilton. One staff member went way beyond the call of duty. That staff member was Jakeiera. She guided us through the phone because our GPS was not working right and it was our first time coming to New Orleans. She even came outside to assist us with parking since it was difficult for beginners. Even when we obtained our room she checked on us more than once. I told people in the registering room how much she assisted us. The other staff member was Kevana , she was outstanding too. They were kind, considerate, professional and displayed 100% strong work ethic. We ended up staying 3 nights instead of one.

Cons:

Only option for parking is $53 a day for valet. When I called they said it was $35, but on the valet stand it says $53.

The room was spacious and had all the amenities and toiletries needed. Very close to Bourbon Street and Amtrak. Great brekky too!!!
