Pros:

Everything was great! Location, staff, facilities, everything!

Cons:

My only issue was with breakfast. It was too busy and they didn’t have tables / plates and staff was constantly running around. They need to increase their space for breakfast!

Rundum perfekt
Pros:

Es war rundum perfekt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben ein kostenloses Zimmerupgrade bekommen. Das Frühstück war unglaublich gut mit einer riesigen Auswahl.

-Bathrooms in the rooms have aged, a lot of broken tiles, wall paper peeling, stains in various places.
-upon checking into my room noticed there was traces of nuts around the bed, room phone wasn't working. Was then given a new room, and had the same issues, rubbish on the floor and the house phone wasn't working again.
-the older rooms are fully carpeted and there are visible stains around, stains can also be seen in the sofa.
- Breakfast can get real busy and the wait may take a while. Once seated at my table I was asked to accomodate 2 other guests as there was limited space - this was pretty wild, felt as if I was in high school all over again.
Just real lazy effort. Deffinitiely not a 5 star establishment.

Disappointed
Cons:

Why do they always offer upgrades?
This is my third time in a Taj Hotel and each time I have never been given the room promised
Once check in was done we were left hanging on where the room is or who would bring our bags to the room!

Beautiful property, nice spacious room but expected a better experience from the check-in process

Cons:

I had booked a deluxe room with a pool view and I got a room without a pool view. I had to keep calling to get the room changed and finally only after I went back to the check in counter did they finally change the room. Not expected from Taj properties. This was disappointing

Nothing much my expectations were high being taj

Cons:

Well where to start for almost 17k a night i was expecting more .
The bathrooms were with wallpaper all wet and pealing off , very very poor paint job , out flush had bad water , they need to do some renovations there , rest of the room was fine .
Food the buffet as well as the in-room dining was just just ok , breakfast was an e tra 3k per head .
Anyway to sum it up I have stayed a lot at the taj mahal towers in south mumbai and truly never been disappointed or even in the holiday village or the fort aguada .after clearing my balance at the checkout and when I am at the valet after 30 min the cashier comes running out to collect the breakfast charges , asif I was trying to get away . So its not Taj standards in many ways .

Bit of a rip off for quality and poor service

Diverted to alternative restaurants for breakfast
Which was quite chaotic
No glasses or plates
Long long wait for omelettes . Ask waiters for tea or coffee. Never served until u go and insist on being served.

Fruit juices and fruits constantly running out
Long waits for everything
Overpriced cup of tea at bar… £9 for a small cup of tea! Extortionate!

Disgusting and disappointing. It’s a one star hotel.

Hygiene standards, cleanliness, quality of stay. It’s a very very old hotel and still not at all maintained in the best way possible. Only by placing wall paper on walls doesn’t hide old cracks and holes. It’s horrendous. Bathrooms are old , leaky and we even had a disgusting never cleaned kettle to make tea coffee. Kettle had a thick layer of rust on the filter spout.

There are far better properties to stay in mumbai at a similar price but better experience.

Late check in. Was told 2pm but got room at 3:30. Despite being in a non smoking room there were drunk rowdy people in the next room who were smoking in the corridor and banging and disturbing us till 3am . When we tried to call the staff for help they simply refused saying they cant tell the guests next door anything.. i had slso recorded all the conversations i had with the staff showing their non cooperation.

Super Hotel, tolle Facilities, super Service.
Pros:

Sehr schönes Hotel, tolles Frühstücksbuffet, super Service, Pool und Wellnessbereich sehr schön und sehr entspannend nach einem Sightseeingtour Tag.

Cons:

Die Lage des Hotels ist doch etwas außerhalb, wir hatten recht viele Uber Fahrten. Das nächste Mal würden wir wahrscheinlich eher in Richtung Palladium Phoenix gehen.
