A Wonderful Family Stay in the Heart of Budapest

We visited Budapest with our family in early July and had a wonderful stay at Mövenpick Hotel Budapest Centre. We stayed in two connected rooms, which was a perfect and very comfortable solution for a family.

The hotel’s location is excellent right in the city center, close to the main attractions and perfect for exploring Budapest. We especially enjoyed the beautiful atmosphere, comfortable rooms, and the delicious breakfast with a great variety of options.

A lovely experience for a family trip. We would be happy to return again!

Cons:

12 Stunden kein Strom in der ersten Nacht. Zimmer im 6. Stock bei einer Aussentemperatur von fast 40 Grad!
Sprich, kein Lift, keine Klimaanlage und natürlich auch kein Licht. Verstehe schon, dass das äusserliche Einflüsse sind, für die das Hotel nicht verantwortlich ist. Aber auf meine Frage nach einer Kompensation beim check out bekam ich zur Antwort "sorry, höhere Gewalt. Mehr als einen Gutschein für ein Willkomensgetränk für den nächsten Aufenthalt sei nicht drinnen". Im Endeffekt bekam ich nicht mal diesen Gutschein, weil der nächste Gast auschcheckte und ich zu einem Termin musste
Hätte mir von einem Hotel dieser Kategorie mehr erwartet!
