What can I say... Stayed there 9th June 2026 (not our first time). If I was to gig deep to find any fault, I would come up empty. From friendly staff to cleanliness, amenities and overall experience, I could not recomend this place highly enough... Have already booked a return visit. 💯...

What a fantastic night’s stay at the Glenview hotel!
The staff were Incredibly welcoming. 5 stars for cleanliness and comfort but with a lovely relaxed vibe. I’ve stayed at the hotel many times over the years with my family but on this occasion it was an overnight stay with my sister. She enjoyed the wonderful leisure facilities. The icing on the cake has always been the Glenview’s high quality cuisine and it certainly didn’t disappoint! I couldn’t recommend it highly enough and look forward to my next visit.
The breakfast and meals that we had at the Glenview were excellent. The room was a standard double which was absolutely fine with a fine view. I enjoyed the woodland walk. The staff were very good and it was especially appreciated that the vast majority were Irish. There was always plenty of staff on hand. The setting of the hotel and grounds were good with the hotel in a very good decorative state. We would definitely stay there again.
The hotel is conveniently situated close to the N11 main road so there was traffic noise.
This most certainly is not a 4 star hotel in any shape or form. It is beautiful from the outside but sadly inside the tens of years muck & grime have left their mark. The revolting smell upon entering; the filth on the carpets ( can't roll your case, as so sticky from years of dirt). The room was tired, dirty & dingy. The bed had a very thin, lumpy mattress, like a child's divan bed back in the 70'. It must have been 20 plus years old. Unbelievable this was an Executive room. The price point & the claim " it a four star hotel" is totally misleading. We refused to stay, left & went home. Sadly, as they already had our money, they refused to give a partial refund. No telephone call, as promised, but a badly written email with total lack of empathy.
The staff were friendly and helpful, the views speak for themselves. The hotel itself was beautiful and modern. The rooms were very clean
The beds were very uncomfortable
We loved the location. Looking out at the scenery in the morning at breakfast. It was stunning.
The staff were excellent. Helpful and respectful.
We were a little disappointed in the pool facility in the afternoon. We know the swimming lessons were on but they took the whole pool over. Two instructors had one to one lessons taking over mist of the rest of the pool. We had a more relaxing experience the next morning.
If you go to Wicklow then this is truly the place to stay☘️ It’s art deco feel, makes it so special. You can picture Elizabeth Taylor pulling up in her white Rolls Royce at the entrance or The Kennedy Family on a Presidential visit. The warm and homely feeling throughout from decor to staff is fabulous. Mist on the mountains to beautiful gardens and lambs in the field. Views from the bedrooms are picture perfect. Pay that little bit extra for a
Magical experience. The bar food is out of this world and so fresh. Staff are so attentive throughout. If you like an early morning swim, sauna or steam room then head over to the leisure centre too. Could not fault this hotel one bit☘️
Well located hotel in the middle of Wicklow mountains, lovely sorrunding area, and ample parking, reasonable price, but older property that needs refurbishing
Very old rooms and decoration, linens were rough, and pillows very low quality, equivalent to a 3 star hotel, not 4 stars.
A lovely hiotel with amazing views
Amazing restaurant and venue staff could not do enough for us . So pleasant and accommodating. Gorgeous views and scenery . Love this place
Excellent hotel. Don't be put off by its proximity to the motorway. Plenty of trees and landscape protect it. In fact the location is wonderful with hills all around. Spacious clean room. Great view. Wonderful breakfast. Bar meals superb. Staff very helpful. Lots of parking. Driving access to surrounding attractions in Co Wicklow.
Fantastic property, maybe the nicest room I’ve ever stayed in over the looking the glen. The breakfast was absolutely out of this world, initially hearing the price I thought it was very expensive but it was the highest quality food and quite literally had anything you could have asked for, full Irish, fruit selection, 2 barista made coffees, pastry selections, meat and cheese platters were all just “chefs kiss”. Dinner the night before sss fantastic also, we had a starter each and were so full we didn’t even get to the mains!
The leisure centre looked great although sauna, jacuzzi and steam room weren’t working and ice baths were quite outdated and hard to full plunge into depth/space wise. However, overall stay was fantastic.
Had a pleasant stay but I was disappointed in the "executive room". Did I miss it or is there no hairdryer ? The room did not have a fridge which I find extraordinary, especially in the summer. Definitely does not deserve executive status. The staff were lovely both at reception and I. The bar. Not sure if I would stay again.
Beautiful setting with very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel’s food and produce is exceptional. The sea bass was the best I have had and the pastel de nata at breakfast made me wish I had taken a bigger handbag to ‘borrow’ a couple for lunch!
Had a lovely night away in the executive suite for our wedding anniversary. The room was beautiful the staff were lovely and the evening meal was the best I’ve had in a long time . Tanya and Jeff Smith
We had a lovely stay in Glenview. Our son has additional needs and when we asked if possible to have chips at 11.30am there was no issue at all, we have been in situations when restaurant or hotel could not accommodate this. The Leisure centre was lovely and clean. We ate in the conservatory bar, again food lovely. Garden areas are beautiful and we had lovely weather so we got to enjoy them. We stayed in a family room, very clean could maybe do with updating but it is an old hotel and does have that charm about it. Overall lovely stay, from the moment we arrived staff very attentive.
Loved the location, facilities and the food.
Not much.
