Location location
The views lots of space in the restaurant in the bedrooms and in the hotel generally
The food was great and the service very good
The views are fantastic but I love greenery anyway
Expensive
Food and drinks expensive
Everything else was great
Reception staff very helpful the leisure facilities very good and all included swimming pool sauna steam room and hot pool ... the restaurant food was excellent and staff in general attentive well run hotel the grounds outside beautiful
I dont really have negative points everything as expected as value for money
The rooms and public areas were all beautiful, well maintained, and very clean. There were fabulous walking and hiking paths accessible right from the hotel property and there are beautiful gardens on the property itself. The staff were all helpful and gracious. Luxury surrounded by nature!
Because the hotel is located in the countryside, there were no shops or conveniences within reasonable walking distance. While a taxi for an excursion to a village is fine, it would be nice to have a small guest shop within the hotel for items like toiletries, minor first aide, or small snacks.
Nothing
The staff were very unfriendly no air conditioning or fans through the whole hotel during the heatwave the heat was sickening and we could not sleep for the whole night because of how hot it was
We stayed here for 3 nights for a family wedding. We opted for a basic room and were surprised by how large it was.
Staff were friendly and helpful and the onsite bar and restaurant were nice. The hotel should review the food provided at functions. It was pretty average in my opinion.
The grounds were lovely with a few walks available, which was nice. The wow factor came at breakfast time. Breakfast is served on level 1 and it has expansive windows with impressive views of the mountains and glen. I was somewhat blown away when I seen it on my first morning. The breakfast buffet and al a crate option are extensive and really good.
Considering this hotel is on the edge of urbanisation, it really feels like it’s deep in the countryside. I would highly recommend it, even for a romantic night away. It’s great for golfing groups too but I didn’t get the opportunity to play a round.
We celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary with family and friends. Everything was perfectly organised by Leanne beforehand. Eamonn orchestrated on the day and was so attentive. All our guests loved the food. From pre bbq drinks in the garden to the serving of the food everything went smoothly. We had a wonderful experience and would recommend The Glenview for atmosphere, setting, views and attention to detail. A perfect day.
Beautiful grounds/garden
It's was a nice hotel staff were great
For to stay at this hotel you need to have a car. As it's so far away from the city not much of a choice food wise same food every time
Loved the location staff were really friendly and very helpful.
Lovely old fashioned hotel with comfy rooms, friendly staff and gym facilities. The food at the restaurant and at the bar was excellent. I enjoyed the curry with aubergines I had one night at the restaurant. Ideal place for exploring the Wicklow area.
The WiFi was very week
Setting was nice
Staff very slow in bar/restaurant and you could not check in until 4 pm and also could only use the leisure centre after 3pm when you arrived too early before check in which seems odd
The employees were lovely throughout the hotel .The property itself was very nice .I enjoyed my meals in the pub bar while watching the football!! Their life entertainment on Saturday was very good .My time at the hotel went very quickly.I did wish I was staying for another few days upon leaving.I did not use the other facilities that are offered in the hotel but if I were to return , I would use them.Thank you to all for a lovely few days .

There's lots to like about this location. The setting is tranquil and peaceful surrounded by hills, fields and trees. The hotel itself has friendly welcoming staff and the rooms are well equipped, clean and comfortable. I had the breakfast and the food was served promptly and tasted delicious!
There is little to not like here.
