Excellent et gentil hôtel
Pros:

Excellent séjour. Petit-déjeuner trop niveau (si un peu cher) et personnel parfait, gentil au possible. Chambre très confortable.

Mercure hält seinen Standard
Pros:

Der Innenhof lud zum Verweilen ein.
Fenster waren gut dicht, der Lärm war reduziert.

Die Möglichkeit sich morgens einen Kaffee/Tee im Zimmer zuzubereiten fanden wir sehr praktisch und haben uns drüber gefreut.

Schöne Einrichtung von Foyer und Lobby

In die Jahre kommendes Haus, was ich bedingt durch die Lage nehme, mangels Alternative.
Pros:

Lage des Hotel ist sehr zentral und liegt in der Innenstadt von Mannheim.

Cons:

Das für das Frühstück rund 24Eur zu zahlen ist ist schon "Upper Class". Ja, es ist alles soweit da, wenn der durch schnittliche Kunde zwei Brötchen, zwei Kaffee, ein Ei, und etwas Obst mit Jogurt, zu sich nimmt, ist der Preis hart an der Grenze. Wo soll das FS in den nächsten Jahren liegen, bei 30,--€ ?
Die Zimmer sind schon wieder in die Jahre gekommen, die Teppich in den Zimmern sind z.T. fleckig, Bäder zeigen Gebrauchsspuren, technisch müsste nachgerüstet werden, z.B. Steckdosen, die gleich eine Ladevorrichtung haben. Wlan ist zwar umsonst, der Kunde wird aber angehalten sich als "Member" der Hotelgruppe mit seinen Daten anzumelden, (was soll das?).
Rechnung ist nach Tagen noch nicht im E-Mail-Fach, Kundedaten nicht vorhanden ?!, wurde bei Anreise aber abgeglichen (no go!)
Gastronomie, immerhin gibt es eine Bar, mit Minisnacks, schade vor Jahren hat das Mercure mal richtig Gastro., dass das mal wieder kommt wird wohl ein Traum bleiben (keine Leute, nicht wirtschaftlich, etc., ich weiß!!), dies finden wir ja schon im reduzierten Zimmerservice wieder, der als praktizierte Umweltschutz angepriesen wird.
