Pros:

People were very nice, we felt sorry for them as they’ve been working so hard and you can tell they are extremely understaffed.

Cons:

I would not rate this place 5 stars, not even close. The waiting time for food in the evening and for breakfast in the morning was unacceptable and the restaurant wasn’t even full. The food was okay, coffee was terrible. There were no towels in the room, and I had to ask for them. The wine was served in a dirty glass. This is absolutely not the fault of the lovely girls working there; they just had no time to check everything properly. There was one girl in the morning to do everything - from taking orders, serving breakfast, making coffee to doing check outs. As a guest you are coming for breakfast and all the tables are full of dirty dishes cause there is no one to clean them up. Table we had for dinner was so dirty that it was sticky. If you want to pay for 5 star hotel experience is not the place.

Muy buena atención, en especial de parte de Ema.

Habitación con muy linda decoración.
Desayuno muy bueno, jugos naturales.
Buena calidad de sábanas, excelente calidad de productos de tocador.

Cons:

2 arañas muy grandes que encontramos, una en la habitación y otra en el baño.

Really enjoyed our stay but could have been excellent more staff with more staff were employed.
Pros:

Location, character of the building and cleanliness. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed and pillows. The toiletries were good quality. The staff were friendly, helpful and extremely hard working

Cons:

We had to wait longer than normal for food service. It was not the fault of the 2 staff as they worked very hard but there were not enough of them to serve a restaurant full of people and others drinking in the bar.

Pros:

Lovely old property. The king sized bed in our room was very comfortable. The shower was fabulous! And the huge soft towels were exceptional! Had a wonderful dinner with our friends and a really nice breakfast

Cons:

The property was great. Only problem was the bathroom door which only opened a short way

Pros:

Hótelið er einstakt, kúrir í rólegum bæ í ró og næði. Það er framúrskarandi vel hannað og allir innanstokksmunir eru með karakter og fágun. Æðislegt að sitja bæði garðmegin eða framan við hótelið, alltaf nóg pláss og þægindi. Maturinn algjört æði og langar aftur bara við þessi skrif... þjónustan frábær. Mæli 100% með !!!

Pros:

Everything was absolutely nice and beautiful

Cons:

Unfortunately a fire exit light located in the room made it very difficult to sleep (see picture to check out how it was during the night) and it was not possible to switch it off. For such a small space a simple sign could have been enough.

A lovely place to stay and enjoy the Cotswolds.
Pros:

In a nice quiet location with easy access to to the main routes to explore the Cotswolds. Lovely room, excellent breakfast and evening meals too. Very warm and friendly staff.

Cons:

If I’m being really picky, a fridge in the room would have been a great addition but that’s just me 🤣

A cute place in the Country
Pros:

The location, decor, big room & bathroom wonderful, dinner & bfast delicious. Quite a few stairs if u have large suitcases, no ac but had a small fan. Handy if visiting The Farmer's Dog pub

Cons:

The restaurant was under staffed, the waitress was run off her feet, so was a small wait to order & tables were left uncleared for a long time

Ottima colazione (non a buffet), struttura davvero molto bella comoda alle Cotswold (e al ristorante The Farmer's Dog di Clarkson) e alla città di Oxford. Si trova in un piccolo paesino poco trafficato, dispone di ampio parcheggio gratuito e di ristorante con bar. Camere davvero belle, direi lussuose, e pulite.
