Stay away! Rundown hotel
Pros:

This hotel was so run down and for the price we paid was insane. This hotel should be should down and remodeled, they should never charge the kind of rates they are asking. Stay away!!

Stay here! Definitely worth it.
Pros:

Great location, close to everything including a mall in Monterey. It was so nice to stay somewhere clean where everything works! Fridge was cold, microwave worked. Clean bathroom and floors. Comfortable sheets and blankets. Front desk staff was very nice. Great shower pressure as well. Brought my toddler and I was satisfied with the safety and cleanliness. Also loved the fireplace!

Cons:

Not much honestly. Hotel pillows are too soft but that's a matter of preference.

Should have a welcome person at the desk at any time
Pros:

Did not like how the office did not open until eight in the morning. I feel like we should be able to get there early and have somebody waiting at the desk. Also parking lot was difficult to get around.

Cons:

The lobby had a great coffee system with expresso, lattes etc, but it wasn’t open until 8 AM. We would have liked to have enjoyed it earlier since we had to leave by 8.
