The reason for my June day was to attend business meetings at my office, which is less than a five minute walk away from the hotel The hotel is also close to many restaurants. In addition to a great location, the view of the NYC skyline from my room and from the bar area was amazing. The front desk staff was courteous and was able to accommodate my early check-in request. They even upgraded my room. The room was also very clean. I will definitely stay here again for my next work trip.
Updated: The property's third-party valet service claims department proactively reached out to me to process the claim, and I received the reimbursement check within 7 business days, as promised. As a result, I am updating my rating from 2 (Poor) to 4 (Good).
Original Review:
Compared to our last visit two years ago, I could definitely see the improvements after the renovation. The property overall feels refreshed, and most of the front desk staff were helpful during our stay.
However, the room with the accessible bathtub that we received still left much to be desired. Since it was only a two-night stay and the hotel appeared to be at or near capacity, I chose not to complain or request a room change.
Unfortunately, the biggest issue happened at checkout, when the valet parking service lost or misplaced my car keys. When I reported the situation, I was simply told that the valet company is a third-party vendor and that there was nothing the hotel could do for me. While I understand the valet service may be operated by a third party, the lack of sympathy, urgency, or willingness to assist was extremely disappointing. It felt like the response was essentially, “Sorry, there’s nothing we can do,” and that was the end of it.
After I followed up via email and included my Hyatt concierge, one of the assistant managers did add the valet company’s manager to the email chain, but I have not received any further updates since then.
I sincerely hope the valet company is able to locate my lost key and mail it back to me as soon as possible. However, if the key cannot be found, I would like to know how the hotel and valet company plan to handle reimbursement for the costs associated with deactivating the current keys and purchasing replacements.
At this point, my overall impression of the stay will largely depend on how this situation is handled moving forward. I am willing to update and revise my rating accordingly if the property and valet company resolve the matter professionally and responsibly.
Awesome location. The place is clean. Rooms are big enough for our family. The PATH (Subway system) is literally next to it. The place is quiet compare to being in NYC, yet it’s only a 5-min subway ride. Would definitely stay here again when we visit NYC.
If you’re looking for a room with a priceless view of NY look no further. The room and service was impeccable. Will definitely come back.
In 4min ist man beim World Trade Center. Von dort aus kann man sämtliches Sightseeing zu Fuss und mit U-Bahn erkunden.

Nice room perfect location
Avoid rooms on the 8th floor, the noise from the ballroom above was very loud and kept our children from going to sleep. For what we paid I was very disappointed. You are double dipping, booking these weddings (there were 2 that night we stayed) and charging people extravagant rates to stay below a ball room with blasting music. Be honest about the room being loud for a few hours if on a weekend and charge less.... oh wait that would never happen because greed... money etc
Exceptional Staff and relaxing stay ay The Hyatt. Felt like a vacation on a Business Trip! Location is perfect, quiet, convenient and everything was perfect includiung Breakfast that offered many fresh options . If you like fresh Eggs, Omelettes, Fresh Fruits everything was there

Excellent stay! The hotel was very clean, the location was very convenient, and the room was comfortable. The breakfast was great, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. A special thank you to Jelyn, who was especially sweet and kind and made our breakfast even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!
check in was a disaster due to a significant amount of kids checking in for a convention. Took an hour in a queue. Staff were fairly rude and not engaging atall. Asked if we could be kept away from the scores of kids rooms as we had travelled transatlantic and were tired, in fairness this was accommodated but had to change lower floor. Room was decent but shower was low in pressure and slow to heat. Had dinner in the bar area, food was fairly expensive and quality not great. Staff said we would get a gratuity credit back to card due to the issues on room change but never happened, due back to area in October but likely look at other options sadly.
Beautiful view from rooms! Slightly lacking in service. Got into rooms early. Food was good. Cost of stay was expensive. Room was clean. Great location
Really convenient location one stop away from downtown offices (faster than taking the train from mid-town manhattan). Also a quick trip to EWR when flying in and out. Ended up also staying through the weekend on this trip with family and the hotel staff was very attentive to my family's requests.
Great views of the Manhattan skyline at breakfast and from the rooms. Also really like how everything is newly renovated.
A beautiful location overlooking the Hudson River with amazing views of Manhattan. Rooms were comfortable and clean. The bar was well staffed and friendly atmosphere. We stayed for a wedding so the location was convenient.
Very nice hotel, quiet, best view of the nyc skyline. Breakfast buffet and dining area was great, servers Gabriel & Jelyn were very polite & helpful! Will be back very soon to visit.
Beautiful view and close proximity to PATH. We loved walking on the dock at night and taking in the wonderful Manhattan views. Our room was very clean with a nice sitting area. We also had a small window and we appreciated the fresh breeze. However, our first night was really, really loud. We had gotten up at 4:00 a.m. earlier in the day to catch a plane and hoped to go to bed by 10:00 p.m. We were unable to do so because of a loud jazz event above us. Please be aware when booking that there is an event venue on the 3rd floor. We were on the 2nd and heard drums and saxophones until midnight. I called and complained and the receptionist told me it was a private party and in her own words, there was "nothing they could do". This is also the first time I have ever stayed at a Hyatt that does not provide free breakfast for all guests with a free coffee station. We did have coffee in our rooms though. There is not a quick breakfast restaurant close by the hotel or anything like a "grab and go". We walked about 8 minutes to Whole Foods. Breakfast for us would have totaled $360 for a simple three night stay and since we actually prefer about 400 calories for breakfast, it would have been a huge rip off.
