Great hotel, will be back!
Pros:

Staff were fantastic, all across the hotel. Lovely little touches in the room. Loads of parking. Food in the restaurant was delicious, great portions and catered to all diets (one of our group was vegan and there were a few options on the menu as standard, all of which were delicious) For the kids there was also a kids club with activities and a movie night - we didn't get time to use this but great to know it's there. Place was also spotless. Have nothing but good things to say - would recommend it to anyone!

Good location, ok hotel
Pros:

We liked the location of the hotel. Kids room was great, pool was good rooms were ok bar was nice and the food was ok

Cons:

The changing rooms were filthy dirty.
The beds are very uncomfortable.
The kitchen made a mess of my dinner. I ordered the meal deal for €28 with a starter and a main.

The main came out first and when I questioned the starter I was told oh I'll go get that now. I stated that it can be brought out first as a starter when I was ordering. The male waiter who took our order was great and asked me the question.

When I explained to the girl who brought the order out I don't want my starter now with my main as it was meant to be a starter, she insisted on returning to the kitchen to get it. I explained to her when she brought it to the table I am not taking it as I'm not paying for it. The waitress standing with her proceeded to roll her eyes only for it was my partners birthday and we had our child with us I would have made more of a deal about it. Not so much as an apology from her about the mess up.

I had 2 pints of Coors light. First one came out in a Heineken glass and was flat. I said ok maybe it's the glass second pint was flat also.

Great few days meeting up with family will definitely stay there again.

Night in Oranmore.
Pros:

Lovely greeting when we arrived from receptionist Elisha (I think) very friendly and helpful. Room was lovely, spacious and clean. Had a drink in the bar, again lovely friendly staff and the same for breakfast and in the leisure centre. So nice to deal with lovely friendly helpful staff. Take a bow all at the Maldron Oranmore. Well done!

Pros:

We were picked as special guests on arrival and received lovely treats in our room xxx.
What a lovely surprise, it really relaxed us and the guys were so happy with there goodie bags .Didn't know it was a thing hotels did 😍.
We'd like to give a big thank you to the girl at reception on arrival so jolly and welcoming. And big thank you also to Kellie who really saved the day at breakfast time (very early breakfast to our bedroom, massive breakfast 😋)she was so kind and helpful and a credit to the hotel .She did the Maldron proud 👏.
We'll be definitely staying here again on out next trip to Galway. Xx
