Our road has now been re-opened so the following paragraph needs to be removed please "Due to the riverside location of Roomzzz York City, in extreme weather circumstances there is a possibility that the property may need to evacuate the property when no access to/from the hotel may occur. Roomzzz York City will be given flood advice by the Environment Agency and will evacuate in line with their guidelines. In the event of a property evacuation, guests may be relocated to neighboring properties in or around York, offered date changes or financial reimbursements. The York Flood Alleviation Scheme (FAS) An 18 months’ Environment Agency (EA) project to carry out major flood defense upgrades within the city will begin from January 2021 along Terry Avenue and surrounding areas. This work is extremely important to the future of York, and we are fully supportive of the project. However, this will mean alternative access to the hotel is needed for guests during this period, as well as occasional daytime noise from the EA work carried out. Very comfortable stay. Very close to the city centre, but felt very quiet. It was less than 10 minutes walk to the historic city centre.
Great apartment fitted with everything we needed and spotlessly clean. Warm welcome at reception. Perfectly located a 10 minute walk from the centre of town and a bonus to have on site parking.

Bright, modern and spacious room. Lovely bathroom with great shower. Good kitchenette, and we were able to sterilise our baby’s bottles in the microwave which made our first trip away with her so much easier. Onsite parking was really helpful. Great location on the river, and a quick walk away into the city centre.

Super modern aparthotel. Cooking facility. Free croissants and coffee for breakfast. Quiet Riverside location. Easy fairly level walk into York centre.Great shower and comfy large king sized bed. Outdoor space to enjoy in the evening.

Situated right next to the river
The property was in a beautiful, quiet location on the river perfect for an evening stroll into York. We were lucky to be there during the heatwave so felt like being abroad! The room was spacious and kitchen was convenient for making Tea/Coffee and a fridge to chill the evening beverages! The bathroom was fabulous with a huge mirror and a lovely shower. Staff were amazing and friendly and always gave our little dog a cuddle when we arrived in the reception area. Free Coffee and pastries were very much appreciated in the morning on our early stroll walking the dog. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to explore York but you need more than 3 days, it’s huge!!! We will be back! ;)
We booked a room with a balcony so I assumed we could utilise it in the sunshine and sit out of an evening but were unable to place furniture on it and it was very narrow and overlooked a road and other rooms, not what I expected. Wouldn’t bother paying extra for it next time, a river view the other side would have been nicer! No welcome pack, usually you get some biscuits/ milk and maybe some washing up liquid etc when you stay at apartments and only one dishwasher tablet for our 4 day stay!

Great location, friendly staff, very spacious, comfortable, modern apartment with good amenities & facilities on site. Beautiful entrance, reception & foyer with complimentary coffee & croissants in the morning. Slept well, comfortable bed & was quiet in the evenings.
Loved it all really & difficult to fault.
Small issue with the heating/aircon & the room was very warm. Slept on the bed as too hot to cover. Informed staff who explained the whole floor was experiencing errors with the aircon, we opened the windows to manage.
Paying £15 a day for parking on top of the cost of the room seemed a little excessive. But I understand York is a popular tourist spot & parking is premium.

A quiet location 15 min walk to town centre. Good size room and bed, and the bathroom was also a good size with very good water pressure
The hotel was spotlessly clean in the communal areas and our room. Our room was very clean and the bed was comfy. We had a studio for two of us and there was plenty of room to move about. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the free croissants and hot drinks in the morning were an added bonus.
We had a couple of things lacking in the kitchen like a a jug, a larger saucepan and wasn't really anywhere to eat food we cooked. A small two seater table would probably work well.
The location was great, the apartment was really good, we had everything we needed
