Roomzzz York City

Love everything about the place. Stayed here a few times now. Location is great looking over the river and within walking distance to the bars and restaurants

Such friendly service upon arrival, we were surprised by the size of the room it looked better than photos. Amazing room and loved the features and the location was walking distance to a lot. Will try to stay again here!

We booked to stay at Roomzz from 22-25th June with friends for our recent trip to York as we like Roomzz aparthotels as they suit our needs, as we usually stay a lot in Chester's Roomzz.

We parked the car in the carpark at the rear , lots of spaces available , which are chargeable via an app or you can pay at reception , and very handy to have Ev chargers onsite too , which are very easy to use.

We paid for an earlier check in so our rooms were ready and we were greeted at reception by Mel , who was lovely , very professional and always very pleasant and looked after everyone .

We booked two studios with lovely views over the river Ouse with balconies on the third floor.

We love grab and go coffee and croissants for breakfast that we take back to the room , but there are lovely indoor or outdoor spaces in the reception area to enjoy these and a well stocked area to purchase additional food and drinks.

Roomzz is set in a lovely very quiet location , but if you turn left out of Roomzz , turn left again and head on to Bishopthorpe Road ,its a lovely very lively road with nice pubs , deli's , restaurants and a Sainsburys all only a 5 minute walk away . If you head left out of Roomzz along the river and then turn right , up and over the bridge and then drop left down on to Kings Staith dock to lovely pubs and bars , you can get the river cruises from there too and then all the side roads lead you up to all the sights of York, again an easy 10-15 walk away.

We loved our stay in York and at Roomzz and would highly recommend it for a stay , and we will return.

We are currently staying here on a weekend break and we are really happy with our accommodation. I did a lot of research before booking, and I chose Roomzzz because it gave the added convenience of all that a hotel offers with a kitchen area too. We are staying in a studio with balcony overlooking the river and it is so peaceful watching the boats go past. We slept perfectly last night - the air on is an added blessing in this heatwave!
Very clean, everything you need is provided and although the carpark was full, we were offered a space in the staff carpark which we thought was a very nice touch. I would definitely book a Roomzzz hotel again!

Great location. Just a short scenic walk down the river to the city centre.
Room was clean and spacious. Though we only used the fridge in the kitchenette, this was well equipped.
Ample seating in the reception area where you could get free hot drinks. And a lovely outdoor seating area too. Free croissants in the morning were a nice touch too.
My goodness, the bed was sooooo comfy! We had the best night’s sleep! So much so, we took note of the make and model of mattress.
Would highly recommend this aparthotel and would definitely consider using Roomzzz again in another location!!

Located in a great spot by the river just a short walk from the city centre and next to a delightful park. The rooms are very well kept with great facilities for a longer stay. Good bathroom/shower and lovely king sized bed. Can't fault it.

The apartment itself was lovely, modern, clean and well equipped. Unfortunately, the location of the room significantly impacted our stay.

The apartment is situated directly on a public walkway, with people walking past a floor-to-ceiling window only a few feet from the bed. This meant we felt unable to open the curtains or windows without losing all privacy. During the recent hot weather, this became a real issue as the room was warm but opening the windows left us feeling exposed.

As a result, we spent much of our stay with the blackout curtains closed, making the apartment dark and preventing us from enjoying the views and natural light. Early morning noise from the adjacent car park also disturbed our sleep, and it was unsettling to wake up to a window cleaner working directly outside the window.

A lovely apartment, but the lack of privacy and noise issues spoiled what would otherwise have been an excellent stay.

Very well equipped, great central location, helpful and professional staff.
