The hotel with perfect location, stone-like pillows, very small and dim room.
Pros:

The location is perfect only 100 meters from St Mark’s Square.
I also liked that they starch and iron the bedding. I experienced that amazing almost forgotten crunchy sensation when I laid down into bed.

Cons:

Flat and stone-like pillow that gave headaches every morning.
The second thing I did not like that the room was very tight and crowded with furniture. There was only one uncomfortable chair to sit for two people. The second person has to lay down or go to the lobby if one wants to read for example. The light in the room was very dim which made reading impossible.
The staff was quite cold and unapproachable.

Only the location made it great.

Great location that’s about it. Spacious bathroom though

Cons:

AC was terrible. It was as if there was none. Bed was slanted (sofa bed) and you’d slide off so I had no sleep. Sheets were dusty so we let sneezing. And except for one lady concierge, the rest were not friendly nor accommodating. Overall wasn’t happy

Great spot and an awesome place to explore Venice from.
Pros:

The location was exceptional. We had read some bad reviews of the property and we were so happy to find these to be unfounded - the staff were helpful and friendly, the room albeit small was very comfortable, the breakfast room and breakfast exceptional - so all a very good experience. Our room also had canal view which was a bonus. I would recommend the property to friends and family and to everyone else!

Pros:

El personal se puede comunicar en español además de ser. muy amables. Está al lado de la Plaza San Marcos y a 10-15 minutos de una estación de bote que te lleva al aeropuerto. El desayuno vale mucho la pena, es basto y bastante bueno.

Cons:

La cama pudo haber sido un poco más cómoda pero en general están bien, yo tengo problemas en la espalda y no tuve problemas. El tamaño es muy bueno.

Great Hotel

Just got back from a 4 night stay at the Royal San Marco.
Lovely hotel in an amazing location just off St Marks Square and accessible to everything in such a short distance. Breakfast was very good and plenty to start your day off well. The rooms
Are kept very clean and a credit to the housekeeping team. The aircon is good which was much appreciated at the end of each very hot day. Finally all of the staff are excellent and very helpful. Thank you and we recommend this hotel.
