it was fine for work, but would not go there again.
Pros:

staff was very kind and welcoming, everything was very clean and i liked being able to input my request for housekeeping in the ipad. the location is also great, very close to the train station so you can walk, same with shopping.

Cons:

the rate for this hotel was very high, i was shocked it did not have a smart tv, only german channels dubbed in german, so we could not watch anything after a long day. to be fair they did not say they had a smart tv in their booking i just assumed.
there was the same soap for handwashing, body washing and shampoo, was a bit strange, breakfast was not very good. limited choices, and eggs did not taste good. also no spa facility or hot tub, again my mistake for not checking. bed was also rockhard. and no robes were supplied

Zufrieden aber war nichts besonderes.
Pros:

Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet. Der Kaffee eher weniger. Der Dortmunder Stadtkern ist nicht besonders schön, aber dafür liegt das Hotel sehr zentral. Mit dem Auto ist man schnell beim Stadion. Fitnessraum mit guten Cardio Geräten ausgestattet.

Cons:

Es ist ein klassisches Konferenzhotel vom Stil her. Nicht besonders viel Charme, aber sauber und ordentlich. Die Parkplatzsituation ist wohl in ganz Dortmund schwierig und Parken sehr teuer. Unbedingt vorher anmelden, dass ein Parkplatz benötigt wird, sonst bekommt man eventuell keinen. Garage kostet 17 euro extra pro Nacht. Fitnessraum extrem klein und keine Krafttrainingsgeräte.

Zentrale Lage, guter Preis und ein sehr leckeres Frühstück.

Cons:

Die Bar hatte leider geschlossen und Abends konnten nur die Getränke/Snacks aus dem “Automaten” angeboten werden.
