Exceptional stay, memorable!
Pros:

Very welcoming and helpful staff! The hotel being historic felt like a I was staying in a museum, a lot historic and informative plagues/pictures on the walls. Walking distance to Old Salem, very interesting area! Also the Italian restaurant across the street from the hotel was a winner as well. The room was wonderful, the beds comfortable, the size of the room was huge compared to the chains. Liked the special add ins at night, the wine/beer and cheese/fruit they had available between 6-8, then between 8-10 milk and gourmet cookies. Breakfast was wonderful, loved the old room they had it in. Truly recommend, its a gem of a place!

Will absolutely stay here every time I have the occasion to pass through Winston Salem!
Pros:

Everything! Plenty of (free) parking, strong (free) WiFi, very good (free) breakfast, happy hour, evening cookies. You get so much value for the price you pay. Our room was huge with exposed brick walls and high ceilings. Loved it.

Dreamy and beautiful!
Pros:

Wow! This hotel far exceeded our expectations. They had a complimentary wine/beer/ cheese for registered guests at a certain time at night which was unexpected and nice to sit in the courtyard. The rooms were well appointed, clean and spacious. Then they had cookies and milk at night! OMG as if it couldn't get better! In the morning the breakfast was way larger and had way more options than a normal free breakfast. I loved this hotel it was wonderful. Wish I could return often! Check in was smooth and the front desk gentleman (wish I remembered his name) was a delight too!

Cons:

That is a difficult question the only thing would be the shades let light in but not a deal breaker I understand with an older building it is hard to avoid.

Lovely, with a few tech problems.
Pros:

Love the property; have stayed there several times. Very comfortable and welcoming, great staff, lovely special touches like wine and cheese and cookies and milk.

Cons:

The internet access was terrible, and not password protected. My cell service, usually 100%, had difficulty in this location. They’ve also changed their TV service to a fairly complicated system that folks unfamiliar with this type of service will have difficulty with it. I don’t want to have to study a
Tv system to have local channels, news, etc., readily available.

Perfect overnight in Winston Salem
Pros:

Loved the location, the historic background, the spacious room, the very friendly staff and the extensive bfast choices. Happy hour was nice too.

Cons:

Would have preferred a king bed v a queen in that large room, but the bed and bedding were very comfortable.

Great Location & Comfortable Stay!
Pros:

We really enjoyed our stay in Winston-Salem! The place was very comfortable, welcoming, and in a great area, with a beautiful courtyard that made it nice to sit outside and relax.

The location was perfect for exploring the area, with easy access to everything and not far from Old Salem. We also loved being able to walk around the neighborhood—it was a great way to burn off a few of the calories from all the delicious food we enjoyed in Winston-Salem! 😊

One of our favorite stops was Little Pep Wine Bar downtown. It’s such a great place with amazing food and wine, and definitely worth checking out while visiting Winston-Salem.

Overall, we had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed the location, the comfortable accommodations, and being able to explore so much of Winston-Salem. We would definitely stay here again! ❤️
