Beautiful hotel with splendid grounds. Huge rooms with high ceilings, seating areas, floor to ceiling windows and a hot tub. It felt like a treat to stay here.

Laundry service was quick and reasonable. Breakfast had a good selection. Dinner was expensive. The ‘volcano’ dessert my daughter had was tiny. We ate in La Fortuna on the other two nights of our stay. Using Uber to get there was less than half the cost of the hotel taxi ($20 dollar each way).

The staff are helpful. We enjoyed the thermal pools and pool. We would recommend this hotel.

The property is gorgeous with great volcano views. Love the hot tub in the room. Food on site is very good. Location is a great base of all of the activities in the area.

Pura Vida! First, be prepared for the long 4-hour ride to this majestic, beautiful hotel. My travel agent informed me, so I made sure I had gum, M&M's, and Dramamine. The driver was Alejandro and Catherine. He gave us various pieces of information about Costa Rica. He stopped so that we could take pictures too. The road is very windy, so if you are not used to that, be prepared. When we arrived, I thought, " Is this real? Like, seriously. The check-in was smooth. When the driver took us to our room, my mouth dropped open. The room is gorgeous, the view is spectacular. Unbelievable, I was like, this must be a dream. The hot tub, the shower, everything was amazing. The breakfast was included, and I appreciated the fact that every day, they had cultural food. I love that, because it exposes them to their culture. I love the daily variety of fruit juices. The staff was very kind and helpful.

For my Birthday, the staff sang to me and gave me a delicious dessert. The meal was scrumptious, and I had to meet Chef Grahem. He did an amazing job, and he should be recognized for his food quality and presentation. Yummy.

The grounds at this hotel is meticulous gorgeous, well taken care of. The only negative I have to say is that at night it's very, very dark, and it's not well-lit when you take a walk on the premises. Also, they only have two restaurants, so if you want something different, you have to leave the hotel. However, that's ok if you have a car. Just wanted to give you a heads up.

Will I come back absolutely!! This place is a little Heaven on Earth

El hotel es precioso, tiene una de las mejores vistas que he tenido estando en La Fortuna, la habitación es muy linda y cómoda. Los jardínes y espacios en común son realmente lindos y algo que me encanta, es que tiene aguas termales y además piscina con agua caliente.

We stayed for 3 nights in the villa, and it far exceeded our expectations. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. The view of the volcano was spectacular and the grounds were beautiful and well maintained. The location was great. It was outside of town, but close enough to drive to if needed. The room was comfortable and very clean. I would highly recommend this place.

Large rooms with tall windows. It was cloudy when we were there but I'm sure the view would have been spectacular. The garden area is well maintained and landscaped with paths from building to building. The hot springs were relaxing and the bartender will bring you drinks directly to you. Check-in was a breeze and included a welcome drink. The breakfast buffet had variety and was very good. The hotel location is probably great for the views of the volcano, but it is a bit of a drive from town. Our showers were cold, but we still really enjoyed our stay.

This location was beyond incredible from the cleanliness to the volcano views to the staff to the food I can go on for days! My husband and I couldn’t have been happier with our stay and loved every moment.

Amazing staff, good breakfast, beautiful views of volcano. Our kids loved the pools. Convenient location. We loved the wildlife around the properties.

The view from our room at Arenal Kioro looked exactly like the website pictures! The hotel is small which I really enjoyed but the grounds are big and fun to explore. If you stay a little further from the main areas, you don’t mind the walk because the grounds are absolutely beautiful. Everywhere is kept immaculately clean but you never see anyone actually cleaning. The staff couldn’t be sweeter or more helpful. They left something sweet on the bed at check in since my girls were celebrating a birthday and graduation. It really delivered in every way. It isn’t the newest property but it is very well kept and my family had the best time here. The complimentary breakfast was great, so were the poolside bites and lunches. It seemed to be a good distance from all of the excursions we booked so usually we were just a 15-20 minute Uber ride from anywhere we wanted to go. Highly recommend!

Absolutely gorgeous views from the large, lovely suites at this hotel. Very helpful and kind staff, gave lots of recommendations for activities and handled booking them.

I loved that they have hot springs on site, and again, the views from the pool were beautiful. Tasty food also, I especially enjoyed the breakfast and Caesar salad.
