Marriott's Phuket Beach Club

My family and I recently spent 5 days and 4 nights at Marriott's Phuket Beach Club, and overall we had a wonderful stay.

The resort is beautifully maintained, the beach is stunning, and every staff member we encountered was friendly, pleasant, and always greeted us with a smile. Their hospitality truly made us feel welcome throughout our stay.

The room itself was comfortable and clean, although it is starting to look a little dated compared to newer resorts. That said, it did not affect our overall enjoyment of the holiday.

One downside is that the resort is located quite a distance from Phuket Old Town and some of the main tourist attractions. However, the convenience of having a 7-Eleven right outside the resort was a huge plus. Turtle Village is also within walking distance and offers a supermarket, restaurants, and various shops.

The resort provides a shuttle service between the hotel and Turtle Village every 15 minutes. While this is a thoughtful service, it proved challenging for my elderly mother, who has mobility issues, to board the shuttle truck comfortably.

The biggest highlight of our stay was OY from the Concierge Desk. She deserves special recognition for her outstanding service. Not only did she provide us with plenty of helpful advice and support throughout our stay, but she was also incredibly patient and understanding when assisting with our horse-riding booking. We made numerous changes to the dates and timings, and she handled every request with professionalism, kindness, and a smile.

I would also like to congratulate OY on her 25th Anniversary with Marriott. She is truly an asset to Marriott and a shining example of exceptional customer service. I sincerely wish her many more successful and happy years with the company.

OY genuinely enhanced our Marriott experience and made our 4-night stay even more memorable.

And to OY: when my money flies back, I'll definitely return to Phuket and catch up with you in person! Haha!

I’ve been staying at Marriott’s Phuket Beach Club regularly since 2006, and it remains one of the most reliable, well‑maintained, and enjoyable resorts in Phuket. The 2‑bedroom villas are the perfect setup — spacious, comfortable, and equipped with full laundry facilities, which makes longer stays incredibly convenient.

The grounds are immaculate year after year, with beautifully maintained gardens, quiet pathways, and a sense of space that’s getting harder to find in Phuket. One of the biggest advantages is the seamless access to all JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa facilities. You get the best of both worlds: the home‑like comfort of a villa plus the full amenities of a luxury hotel — pools, gym, restaurants, and the turtle sanctuary.

After two decades of visits, the consistency of service, upkeep, and overall experience is what keeps me returning. It’s still one of the best family‑friendly and relaxation‑focused resorts on the island.

The experience were magnificent, right from the check in until check out.

The resort facilities and vibes were top notch, especially the pools. There are three pools available where the quiet pool was really great for the adults to enjoy.

The hospitality and attention from the staff were top notch, especially from the guest relation Nandira, Ruben, India, and their manager Dilan. The complimentary local beers and wine from them in my room was indeed a pleasant cherry on top.

The housekeeping staff (Sara, Megan, Thomas, and Kira) did a splendid job in keeping the room clean, neat, and warm with the additional towel decoration).

The breakfast selection and quality were excellent, also the dinner that we had at Siam Deli and bbq buffet in M beach were magnificent.

Totally worth to spend my vacation here and definitely recommended.

What a great experience! The resort was beautiful and lush, but what really made it was the staff! Attentive to your every need, from the bell staff to the concierge to the housekeeping staff! Overall, the staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful! We had a two bedroom apartment that was huge and beautifully appointed! The resort runs free shuttle service to a local shopping village which was very convenient. Overall, a great resort that I would be happy to stay at again!

Before our trip, we had reached out regarding island-hopping options, and Concierge Oy responded with remarkable efficiency and detail. What surprised us most was how much there was to do without ever leaving the resort.

As night falls, the resort transforms once again — calm, softly illuminated, and deeply relaxing.
Returning to our room each evening, small thoughtful touches reminded us how much care goes into every detail.

On our final day, we had originally planned to explore more of Phuket. But in the end, we chose to stay — and that decision said everything.

Some places impress you.
Some places stay with you.
This was the latter.

Excellent accomodations and facilities. Housekeeping staff was exceptional Khun Susan, Laura, Nana and Ashley. Breakfast noodle staff Cin and Ao were excellent. Restaurant staff at Cucina and the Cafe were excellent.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Nash, the tennis coach at the resort. From the very first session, his energy, professionalism, and genuine passion for tennis stood out. He has an incredible ability to adapt to all levels, whether you’re a complete beginner or more advanced, and he immediately makes you feel comfortable on the court.

What really impressed me was how attentive and detail-oriented he is. He doesn’t just run through drills – he actually watches your game closely, gives clear, practical feedback, and helps you improve in a way that feels natural and enjoyable. Every session felt productive but also really fun.

Beyond his coaching skills, Nash is just a great person to be around. Friendly, encouraging, and always positive, he creates a great atmosphere that makes you look forward to each session. It honestly became one of the highlights of our trip.

The International Women’s Day dinner at Marriott’s Phuket Beach Club was a wonderful example of how exceptional chefs and a dedicated hospitality team can create a truly memorable evening.

From the moment we arrived, the welcome was warm and genuine. The dining tables were decorated with beautiful vases of flowers and a single rose placed at each table, creating an atmosphere that felt both elegant and celebratory.

Chef Tim, the head chef for the evening, made the experience especially personal by visiting our table to introduce herself and share the inspiration and history behind the five-course menu she had designed. Hearing directly from the chef about each dish made the evening feel intimate and thoughtfully curated.

The food itself was outstanding. The welcome bites featured Tod Man Pla Ma Prao On—homemade fish cakes with cucumber relish—that were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The main course of slow-braised Thai curry beef cheek paired with Phuket lobster was a highlight of the evening, beautifully balancing rich Thai flavors with local seafood.

Dessert was equally impressive. The Pandan Inthanin, a handcrafted dessert that must be eaten fresh and requires three people just to stir during preparation, was a rare and delicious treat that made for a memorable ending.

Chef Tim was supported by Chef Ja, and Chef Tik, who came from other restaurants to assist in making the evening run seamlessly. Behind the scenes and throughout the dining room, the entire team worked together to create an exceptional experience.

Special recognition goes to Kwan, Molly, Goon, and Pam, whose attentive service and genuine care made guests feel completely looked after from beginning to end. Their warmth and attention to detail truly elevated the evening.

A luxurious home away from home ! Stayed here for 3 nights, usually my travel has 2 objectives see places and experience the stay! But at this place I was more inclined toward experience the stay, happily postponed the activities I had planned away from resort just to ensure I don’t miss out on activities at resort, what more can you ask for,

All in all I really did not realise the time fly!

It all starts with ever smiling staff and doesn't end with services, cleanliness, quality of food, location of the property, the security, variety of food alternatives around the property etc...

A Dream Resort very welcoming, warmhearted, attentive, capable, familyfriendly, helpful service team everywhere in the Resort, especially the Pool Team Game Nuay, Lert Adal are just wonderful. I love to come here every time!
Great views, a lot of activities and everything you need!

We absolutely loved our stay here. Large and spacious apartment, beautiful tropical gardens and incredibly perceptive, warm and welcoming staff for whom nothing was too much trouble. We stayed for 12 days, 9 of which had the most appalling weather, not just the odd tropical downpour, but constant cloud, rain and drizzle. Not to be beaten by the weather, we learnt to enjoy rain bathing (!) in the fabulous south pool ( there are three pools, this was our favourite) and took ourselves off to see the elephants, trip to Wa Chalong Temple and Old Town Phuket, plus a boat trip around Ao Phang Nga National Park, taking in the stunning and typical Thai sea and landscape, including James Bond Island. Highlight was the canoe ride around the lagoon. Staff at the pool ( particularly Lert), the Siam Deli and our room maids who kept our apartment spotlessly clean, were particularly helpful and made our stay extra special. Last three days were constant sunshine and were glad to just soak it all up by the pool, as well as enjoying a dip in the Andaman Sea - hard to resist when we were located right next to it. We are sad to leave and hope to return soon.

We had a wonderful stay at the Marriott Phuket Beach Club. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly warm and friendly — they made my family feel genuinely welcomed and well cared for throughout our stay. Every interaction felt sincere and thoughtful.

The level of service was truly top-notch and consistently excellent. Whether it was housekeeping, the front desk, or the dining team, everyone went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and happy.

A truly beautiful resort with loads of activities and quiet spaces so for families or couples. The apartment we had was superb, well equipped and very spacious for the four of us. The hotel had plenty of restaurant options and there were more restaurants a 10 minute walk away in Turtle Village, along with a supermarket, a few shops and chemists. The fact that it is only 17 minutes from the airport was even better. Will return.
